Having visited during the COVID-19 pandemic, while cruise ships are still banned, I found this shopping district a ghost town. There were extremely few tourists (5?), many businesses were boarded up and other merchants stood in their doorways harassing us to come in their store. We had to get out of there as quickly as possible as it was quite disturbing. If we ever return to St. Thomas we will NOT visit Main Street.

Stay away from the jewelry stores they ate trying to sell you something. Its so many of them and they lure you in by drinks lol. Otherwise its a really nice place to walk do. To see all of the old passage ways.
