I’ll start by saying I followed my mom & sister into this store without the intention of purchasing anything. We met Garima, who showed my mom and sister several pieces that she just THOUGHT they might like. She was so patient and listened to them when they told her what they liked and didn’t like and didn’t take negative feedback personally. Garima is a DREAM of a sales associate, who truly does want you to love what you’re purchasing. She showed me a diamond encrusted ring that I ended up purchasing, and then she showed me a white gold cartier ring I fell in absolute love with. I can’t wait to come back and see this sweet woman & im even debating purchasing more from her before leaving the island on this trip! The whole staff & her boss are so amazing, if you’re purchasing jewelry, this is the place to do so !!!!

Last year we bought a diamond bracelet that broke. Vinay and team at Gold Mine helped us get a replacement right away. This year we traded up for a similar but larger bracelet and Garima provided excellent service, along with a terrific price on our trade in and acquisition. Highly recommend Gold Mine for your jewelry needs!

The Gold Mine is like family, they are a multi-generation family owned shop that will meet and exceed all prices. We've bought numerous pieces over the years and even traded back in for upgrades. Go see Shawn and the staff at the Gold Mine!

This is the only way and the only place to buy jewelry. They make you feel so welcome that you forget your shopping you feel more like you’re visiting distant relatives. After coming in on the first day I knew that I wasn’t going buy anything and i made that clear. nevertheless, they made me feel at home and talked about their island as ambassador‘s rather than trying to haggle you. After feeling comfortable the next day I decided to return and ended up buying pieces of jewelry for myself, my mother, my daughter, my friend because it just makes so much sense to purchase jewelry in St. Thomas versus anywhere else because of the tax benefits on top of that… they are extremely reasonable and affordable because they care about having A long-term relationship with you rather than a single transaction ….their warrantees and benefits alone are reasons not to shop anywhere else when it’s comes to jewelry. Ask For Garima or Cindy, they are precious jewels themselves.

Came in on a Celebrity cruise and heard that diamonds were a good deal here, so we shopped around and came close to purchasing, As a matter fact we were on our way to another store to purchase when we ran across Goldmine fine jewelry. After a few minutes with Garima and Sean,We were convinced we were in the right place. Wonderful pricing beautiful pieces and great service, They really went above and beyond what I expected. I highly recommend a visit here if you’re in the market for fine jewellery and real diamonds

So I’m the least girlie girl on the planet so much so when I married the love of my life about 5 years ago I asked for a green emerald engagement ring that matched my husband-to-be’s eyes. He obliged and the rest is mostly marriage bliss. Fast forward to a challenging postponed vacationless 2020 and a much stressed us that finally booked a vacation for July 2021 and having just learned that we are approved and matched for adoption only days before leaving on said vacation. We set off to South Florida and boarded the Celebrity Edge. Immediately, I began drooling over the shining things on board and the not so girlie girl I was wanted her first diamond ring. My folks who are long time jewelry shoppers are traveling with us this trip and my mom goes, “no no you don’t want that you want to go to the Gold Mine in St. Thomas and see our friend Shawn!” And how right she was. The moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles from Shawn’s family, offered water, soda, champagne, and rum punch and no one was pushy or snarky just down right friendly in this “Gold Mine” of a jewelry store! We showed up looking like tourists and they treated us like locals. Cindy and Shawn dismantled a ring on the spot because I loved the stone but not the setting then helped me find the perfect setting! And to boot I found the most incredible diamond hoops! My dad is a Chatty Cathy and Garima just let him chat away while while my mom and I just had a blast. They even let my hubby just exist which is his chosen shopping methodology. Pedro sized and set the ring on the spot in front of us a total seasoned professional. And then they treated us to lunch afterward at a great little place down the block. I know I’ll be back but till I can go again please go visit the crew at the Gold Mine and tell them the Jennings and Herrington Families sent you! Again a huge thank you goes out to Cindy, Shawn, Garima, Pedro, Chad, and the rest of the Crew at the Gold Mine.

We had such a great experience with Gold Mine!! They are an awesome family owned business and totally care about their customers and making them happy. 5 of us walked in and 4 walked out with amazing deals on jewelry and I feel like we just really got to know everyone that worked there. Bonus points for the fact that they are willing to do custom jewelry. I can’t wait to see how my friend’s ring turns out!!!

This is my second time on the island, where I knew I wanted a custom piece to commemorate my dad's birthday and the trip. Last year, I bought a custom piece from here and decided I wouldn't look anywhere else...came in and was instantly recognized as a return customer by MO and then Garima instantly treated me like family. When visiting the island, I will never shop anywhere else! Thanks for everything!

The favorite part of my trip was shopping at Gold mine and seeing my long time business friend owner Shawn and his son Peter
They are honest business folks that sell unique jewelry and you cannot beat tbe prices.

I purchased a bracelet there ladt week, receipt # 16422. Ir broke 3 days later and we were at sea. it was not the clasp, but in the middle of the chain. Luckily it landed in my lap while I was sitting so I did not lose it. Very disappointed with the quality and am wondering what my options are?
