Looking to spend some time out of the sun, we discovered this hidden gem! The gardens are full of beautiful plants including many orchids. Many of the plants were labeled - very informative! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. You can get a peek through the trees at Megans Bay, far below. And the most amazing part - no mosquitoes!

It is a very small very interesting garden with lovely flowers and hungry little birds that come and feed by the entrance. The lady was very nice and told us about the garden and called a taxi for us. This is about an hour visit if you take it slow.

Our group of ten (two families) really enjoyed this small botanical garden! The shade of the canopy kept everyone nice and cool as we learned all about the local plants and how they're thriving after two devastating hurricanes. The orchids are gorgeous and the other native plants are just as breathtaking. Definitely worth stopping by while you're in St. Thomas!

We enjoyed our time at this botanical garden! The worker was friendly and gave us a quick tour. It is not very big but you can walk around, several layers with some steps, and see the natural beauty. We saw a lizard. Many kinds of plants including orchids. Very nice!

My mother and I came here to see the different flowers that are natural to the island. Unfortunately not many of them were actually blooming so we didn't get to see too many actual flowers. The employees, and owner, that were there the day we went were all very nice and spoke with us about the different plants, particularly the vanilla bean plant. There are lots of stairs that you walk to get through the garden and it took us only about half an hour of our time.

The flowers and explanation by the docent gave us good insight into the flora of St. Thomas, the venue is small, approximately 2 acres and is very shady. They were hit hard my Erma and Maria but the plants seem to be making a comeback. Plan to spend an hour poking around. Plenty of places to sit and rest. Not a very structured garden but worth a visit. Parking could be a problem. Use Google maps to find it.

Worth the trip up the mountain!!! We had a wonderful time looking at all of the beautiful plants and would have stayed much longer if it wasn't so hot! We will be back!

Not huge but very well done. The staff was friendly and casually shared information about the gardens and local area. Plants were well labeled and there were many informative signs to enhance our appreciation of our surroundings.

Absolutely gorgeous wildlife sanctuary with knowledgable and friendly staff. Liz was particularly amazing! She went above-and-beyond to share fun facts about the garden's flora and fauna with enthusiasm. The informative signage throughout the walking trail was also very educational. We loved seeing gorgeous orchids and other plants, coexisting with hummingbirds, bananaquits, lizards, and tortoises.
