The guides were very personable and friendly. They gave clear instructions, were knowledgeable about the area, and made everyone comfortable kayaking. We saw lots of tarpons! The pictures with our face paint are very fun!

This was an awesome experience. My wife, kids and I never tried kayak before (I did SUP number of times) and wanted to combine some time on the water with this new experience. We were driving from Coral Bay which was an interesting experience by itself, due to windy roads and steep descents. When we arrived at Westin the guard directed us where to park a car. The Westin resort is pretty large and confusing but they have assistants driving the gold carts and one picked us up as soon as we parked the car, which was very nice. When we arrived at the beach the boats were already ready and waiting for us. The location is really beautiful, despite boats coming and going (ahem fast cat). The two guides had plenty of paint available for us to ha e fun with, and kids definitely had a blast painting their faces while we had a good time chatting with the guides about the island live and location. The guides had many good stories and funny jokes that kids enjoyed. There was another group besides us that arrived a little later. After everybody was ready we received a life west and one by one paddled into a harbor where we would wait for a guide. We had one guide paddle in SUP in front, making sure everybody is doing ok with paddling and we had another guide on the back making sure nobody falls behind. We had some initial paddling issues and boats themselves are not super comfortable but it’s all part of the experience. So staying calm and enjoying the evening was our goal, which was achieved. Along the way we parked at several stopes to see if fish will arrive. It was still light outside during our first stop so we did not see any fish their but the guides were cracking jokes and having a good conversations which was awesome. At our second stop it got darker and the large fish started showing up everywhere. The floated right under the boat and were attracted to the lights that boat was caring. The boat is see-through so we saw the fish floating everywhere. By the end of the trip the warm rain poured over us adding to a cool experience. After saying bye to the guides we walked towards the car and ended up jumping into a pool which was mostly empty. Win win for an amazing evening. Overall this is not a strenuous activity and ment for a very easy trip so if you are looking for a very specific challenge this might not be it. However, if you want an easy float around a harbor, with possibility to see the fish but mostly to just spend some time with your family or friends in nice location than this is the experience for you.
