Quiet and calm

Good snorkeling and swimming. Quiet beach despite being very close to town. Great bar overlooking beach with plenty of seating.

We visited Secret Harbour on two separate days where the wind & waves were too intense over at Sapphire Beach. We couldn't believe the difference - the water was almost like glass over at Secret Harbour! Both days we were able to rent beach chairs and a canopy (the latter because we had our 8-month-old with us), and easily found... More

Secret Harbour is a jewel - outside of town and away from busy tourist areas, with good beach & ocean, good food and easy access to taxis etc. Staff is incredible - always responded to our requests. Condo was clean and spacious even though hotel itself is an older facility. Recommend highly.

This was a nice, calm water area to snorkel right off the beach. We were allowed to park at the resort and entered the water at the far left end of the beach. While there were not a whole lot of fish or coral it sure was a nice area to relax and enjoy for an afternoon.

Secret Harbour is a quiet, shaded beach on a cove that's rarely turbulent...perfect for snorkel and scuba trips. There's a beach bar that's more expensive - there's even a bikini-clad waitress roaming the beach with a tray to take orders - than it should be and a restaurant that's even more pricey. Bathroom and changing facilities are available - and... More

We stayed up Nazareth Rd very near Secret Harbor. Secret Harbor beach is great for sunning, swimming and snorkeling! We really enjoyed the Sunset Grill for lunch and Happy hours. The staff is friendly and a great source of local information. It is close to other restaurants and bars also close to the ferry terminal. Staying on the East End... More

This beach was not my favorite. I would recommend Magen's Bay and Water Island first. The beach is located at a villa/hotel. The best part of the beach is reserved for hotel guests. To purchase chairs you must go to the dive shop. Chairs are not allowed past the restaurant. Beach was not nearly as clean as the others. The... More

The lady and I went to this beach on January 1st, it was a Sunday so it had some people there. We first ate at the Sunset Grille which is right on the beach. Great food and drinks, not too pricey. After we ate we went onto the beach. It was a little crowded at the first section, but going... More

This is my favorite beach on the island for swimming, since the water is very clear and there are very random rocks to stub your tow. It is especially nice when it is windy at other beaches.

10 yr old granddaughter is on island for a visit. I gave her her first snorkeling lesson in the pool yesterday and she was ready to see some fish so today we drove over nice and early to the calmest beach I know, Secret Harbour, and once she got under the water she was hooked. There are a lot of... More
