We went there just to see how clean and populated it was. We did not have swimming gear or anything. Wish we had. the water is beautiful in a south facing bay between the airport jetti and the island. Groomed sand beach. Found LOTS of shells.

Our jeep safari tour stopped on this beach and it was great - as it is a local beach - so not crowded and fairly natural, with crystal clear waters. Also interesting to see the planes land and take off nearby, but not to the point where it is disturbing. The only bad point for us did not relate to... More

This beach can be reached from downtown by taking the safari one-dollar bus to the University of Virgin Islands and then just walking up over the hill. A few locals will be hanging around and there is generally a food and beverage truck there. The water is clear, since the beach is well protected by the airport runway. It is... More

The beach had just a handful of locals and our little group of 4. It was fantastic! The water was so clear and amazing, the white sandy beach was all ours and like a dream come true! It was the perfect excursion! There is also public bathrooms, outside showers and a local food truck that sell food, drinks and beer.

We went here in the afternoon and stayed until the sunset. It is a locals beach, so you know it's a good one. We watched the sunset and incoming planes land. It was a nice wide beach with a gentle slope to the water. This is a good beach for kids.

Still one of the best beaches on the island amd the great part about it is it's free99! Beautiful and veru near the airport this beach still happens to be beautifully blue with great views and you can see the planes fly in and out of Cyril E King Airport. Not noisy and has bathroom and shower access.

This beach have a nice view because you can see planes land but this beach is not a favorite for me. Sometimes I go there just to relax.

Brewer's Bay is right across the street from the University of the Virgin Islands. It is so beautiful. Great spot for children since there are hardly any waves. Whenever we've gone, there have been very few people there. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the day!

We did not see any turtles, though it is a nesting area. It was not too choppy and provided nice scenery. The only parking access we could find required parallel parking along the roadside. The owner of Betsy's Bar in Frenchtown recommended the beach. We enjoyed walking the beach and taking pictures of wildlife.

Wanna guarantee for seeing turtles and sting rays? HEAD TO BREWERS! Always find some turtles and rays out and about at this beach! I go to the university of the virgin islands and this is their beach but it's open to the public. Although it's not always crystal clear blue, the snorkeling is amazing which makes up for it!
