Its just a green bench and the view is good but thats it. Its ok to do as part of a tour. Its not something that I would just go to see.

What a view. A tour to just see this spot ? No, probably would not book that trip. It is a bench along side a major road with an AWESOME view north of the island. But, with a car, I would be sure to make a special trip to see THE VIEW. Sir Drake could not have picked a more strategic place to keep a eye on all ship movements around the island. Plus, major routes abound to send and recieve messages everywhere.

The view here can only be seen with your own eyes. The pictures do not do it any justice. Plan a short trip here, even on your way to and from the airport. Its absolutely breathtaking!

Absolutely one of the best views on the island in my opinion. The pictures speak for themselves. If your taking a cab make Sure to ask if they can stop for a minute not just drop you off. There’s not much to do here but take pictures. After your done head on down to Magens bay!

I think the title says it all - this is definitely worth a stop but the Mountain Top allows for much "fuller" view of the bay as here the view is partially limited due to the vegetation. The Drake's Seat itself is behind the road further pulled to the back, and despite being higher than the parking lot, further being limited. Just add this stop on the way to somewhere and you won't regret it, like on the way to or back from the Magens Bay Beach, like we did :)
