Beautiful beach. Nice calm water. You can rent chairs and an umbrella from Dinghy’s. It’s a nice chill spot and we took the ferry from Crown Bay Marina. Lots of boats dock here. We snorkeled and saw 3 turtles. It was an enjoyable place since the only access was by boat.

The beach is beautiful. You have to arrange transportation when you get there or walk about a mile from where you park. The all day pass is 75.00 which includes unlimited access to kayak, paddle board and water sports. I recommend you do not get it. Only get it if you are there before 10am. It wasn’t worth it. The food at the concessions is unbelievably expensive and tasted ok. Everything on the beach I thought was over priced. If you are looking for just a nice beach , head to Trunk Bay.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Honeymoon beach on Water Island. This was our favorite beach of our week long visit. The water was perfect. I would suggest getting there no later than 10AM so you can grab one of the free shade structures located on the beach. There are only about six of them. If you are able to swim out to the limit of the swimming area you may see some Sea Turtles. I was lucky enough to see a decent sized Sea Turtle and a huge Sea Turtle feeding on the turtle grass. The huge Sea Turtle even had two large cleaning fish attached to it.

Absolutely beautiful beach! We had less luck snorkelling here than Caneel Bay. We saw 1 turtle and several fish compared to several turtles, rays, coral color galore. Sharks, etc.. at Caneel. Less people than at Trunk bay.

We came here when 2 cruise ships were docked. We took the water ferry. Chairs and umbrellas are free. There are 2 restaurants and paddle boards to rent. The water ferry line to return is long and there’s only 1 ferry. Be prepared to wait. People were arguing over who should get to go back on the ferry first. There was a local who started yelling and calling tourists (children included) names because the water ferry operator made the cut-off right in front of him, leaving the local to wait for the next ferry. It was really uncomfortable. They should have more than 1 ferry. The staff at the condo we rented told us the locals don’t like tourists. Based on how we were treated whenever we left the condo grounds, I have to agree. Anyhow, great beach. Maybe arrive via chartered boat.
