    Enjoyed our first visit here........
Lovely spot. Water was very clear. Was not overly crowded on the afternoon of our visit. The chair guy was a pain insisting on taking our chairs at 4:30pm. Bathrooms associated with the bar, Dinghy's were a mess.

Wow. Please do not go and spoil paradise.
What a beach. Photos cannot do this beach justice. We hiked along the Lind Point trail. In November this was very overgrown and not really suitable to a hike in sandals. Sturdy shoes and cover up are the order of the day. It took 45 minutes from the visitor center. but the reward when you get to the beach, oh my! It was amazing. the beach is powder, there is few rocks around. Plenty of palm trees to give you shade from the sun. The water is crystal clear and so warm. The only drawback is, at the time we went, there was a strong riptide that could knock you off your feet if not careful and the part we were in had a steep ledge about 5 feet into the water, that dropped a good 2 feet, but leveled out after that

Amazing beach and amenities! Just chill
Fantastic beach, so clean and great services; bathroom, food, and they even have fine wine and champaign! They also cater to kids and take the stress away. Just chill all day and watch the sun go down. Amazing sunset, clear calm water and easy access.

    Amazing
I hate to even write a review due to not giving away this gem of a place. We took a boat from our cruise ship to this island beach and the water was amazing. We could see 15-20 deep and turtles were everywhere. Nice restaurant and you could rent about any water toy. Will for sure go there when we visit again.

My last visit prior to this was about 3 years ago. At that time the ferry was $10 round trip and chairs at Dinghys were free (just had to get there early!)The ferry is now $15 round trip. A nominal increase for us as a couple, but it means if we bring our kids it now is a $90 trip just to get there. Hammocks and chairs are still available but now for rent at $10 a day. Again, a reasonable price, but just felt like a Nicole and dime type scenario.

The beach and water are still as beautiful as ever and this remains my go to location to spot sea turtles (I saw up to 5 at one time) and would still recommend taking the trip if that is your goal.
Food and drink at dinghys are still delicious. I missed the floating bar and live music but covid makes that out of everyone's control.

This was my second favorite beach, first was Trunk. When we first arrived, we thought it may be our favorite until the swarms of crowds took over. We like to enjoy our beach time with our two boys, however other families here let their kids run wild, play right by my chair, and throw sand which ruined the mood. I was told it was$49 including the taxi ride down but then they charged us $10 for the ride as well so not worth the money. There was a very nice gentleman from Eco tours running the parking but on the way out a taxi driver was yelling at him to squeeze more people onto the truck taxi. Of course that yelling taxi man didn’t have a mask on or care about social distancing so there went his tip. I felt like this beach wasn’t worth the hype.

With so many nice beach's on St. John why Honeymoon? I can tell you why not. Four family member's Thursday Feb. 11th, thought it would be nice to have a beach bar, and get Lunch. Got there early brought our own chairs, and small cooler. One of the staff comes around taking orders while were on the beach, nice guy I remember his name, we go with a Strawberry Daquari, with their $15 cup. 10 bucks for the drink, a 5$ tip. Sooo 40 dollars for the Jitney ride, 30 dollars for one drink, thats 70$. Server comes back with drink, all good so far. My wife asks for a straw, he says he will be right back with one. Maybe 10 minutes goes by my Wife gets a twist tie in her mouth, from the drink. I dunno from a ice bag, cup bag? Don't care! Never got her straw by the way. I am beyond furious! I marched up to the bar and hollered pretty good. Sure they gave me new drink. I told the guy I was sorry for hollering, but I was upset, not the exact words I used, he aplogized for the twist tie. So maybe its me, ya know had she been gagging that frozen drink down with no straw she coulda swallowed it. We stayed and tried to salvage the day, had Lunch, nothing great about it. The Beach was very crowded! I can go to several Beach's even in high season with few people. And I can do a whole lot better then 70 Dollars for a contaminated Drink. SO WHY HONEYMOON? I will go sit somewhere else, 70 bucks buys a lotta Pineapple juice and Pussers Rum. Virgin eco tours/ Cannel Bay please feel free to respond.

We took the people ferry from behind Tickles bar on St. Thomas to Water Island (about 15 minute ride and at time of our visit $30 round-trip). We walked around Water Island seeing the sites and finished at Honeymoon Beach. It was overcrowded with Cruise ship people on the beach and lots of boats anchored outside the swim bouys. We really didn't feel it was any prettier than Lindquist Beach on St. Thomas or Maho Beach on St. John. This would not make our list to come back to on our next trip. If your healthy enough and have no limitations Water Island is walkable. But if you have limitations or want to see the entire island quickly then I highly recommend you make a reservation to have a golf cart at your use.

The environment was gorgeous, plenty of shade, SOFT sandy beach, hammocks & lounge chairs for rent. One small restaurant, not cheap but big portions & good food. We paid for the golf cart ride from the parking lot, $10 per person round trip plus tips are expected so not cheap either, but we had one person in our group with mobility issues so worth it for us. The path if you want to walk it is hard dirt, wide enough for two golf carts to pass, a few places where there were large potholes but not difficult to navigate if you're not impaired. We initially snorkeled to the right because our driver said there were usually turtles and rays there. The things we'd read said to go left, and we wish we'd done that first instead. Not much to see to the right, but to the left we right away saw 3 turtles together eating the sea grass, just relaxed. We enjoyed watching them for quite some time. They did get bothered by some other people who felt it was ok to swim down into the turtles faces to take pictures instead of respecting the animals home and space. We'd definitely return to this beach.

Great view, but pretty crowded considering it’s size. Pictures are slightly misleading. The $50 day pass is not worth it! If you are thinking about the day pass, buy it when you get there when you can see the conditions. Kayaking and paddle boarding are not great in the wind. The food and drinks are over priced compared to other beaches around the islands and the woman asked for a tip after I purchased only a bottle of water for $5. If you are not hiking in, know that it is a $5 per person taxi ride to the gate and then $20 round trip shuttle to the actual beach - they do not let you walk from the gate.

We took the ferry from Crown Bay Marina to Honeymoon Beach on Water Island, St. Thomas. No one told me that you had to park in a special lot in order to avoid being booted or towed, so allow extra time to go upstairs to an office to purchase a $10 day parking pass. Parking is limited. You also need to purchase tickets for the ferry, which is first come, first served. The ferry ride is pleasant. The beach itself did not look like the photo. Much of it was very rocky, and it was difficult to enter the water on that part of the beach, because the rocks are sharp. Also, there was a lot of black silt mixed with the sand. Once there, you can rent chairs and other equipment, and purchase food. Apart from the parking hassle it might be fun, but there are nicer beaches on St. Thomas.

I found Megens beach to be nicer. The water was warmer and the water stayed shallow for quite a distance out. However at honeymoon beach the bar service was good as was the hamburgers. They have chairs paddleboard‘s and kayaks available for rental. For $50 a day you can have all the rentals available for yourself and I have to pick just one. The golf cart ride to the beach was rather bumpy.

Took the ferry over to Water Island and spent a few hours at this gem of a beach while on a cruise stop in St Thomas. Soft sand, crystal clear and calm water. Snorkeling was decent as well. Saw a couple of sea turtles and fish. People said they saw a ray but I personally did not. The turtles in their natural environment were very cool to witness. There were a few people here and as the day went on, more came but it did not feel crowded at all for us. There is a beach bar called Dinghy's that you can get drinks/food from. I bought one Bushwacker and it seemed light on the alcohol for $12! We rented a golf cart from Rachael's Rentals as reading she was cheaper than Dingy's. There really is not much on the island to view except some pretty costal views. There is an old WW2 fort up high but we didn't even go up there because the road was so bad. Honeymoon Beach was much to our liking!

Gorgeous beach with soft sand and calm, crystal clear water. Surrounded by mountains, there’s a good mix of people on this beach - older folks, families, and young people. There’s a floating bar with shade in the water. The restaurant here, Dinghy’s, offers chairs and umbrellas, beach side food/drink service, boat tours, golf carts, kayaks, and legit anything else you could want. I wish I came earlier so I could’ve spent more time floating in the water.
