Cory is a wonderful captain as laid back as he is gracious. Asking questions and providing information he easily charted our day to quiet private stops along the national state park of St. John did snorkeling and floating.
He made arrangements for a pizza from the floating pizza shop to be delivered by boat as we anchored nearby. Thankful he is aware that lunch must be ordered by 10 am to be received by 1:30 pm.
Stopped by Lovango, a beautiful and remote resort for cocktails. Watched mountain goats watching us from a sheer cliff on an uninhabited island.
Cory used his local knowledge of the area to best position us to see turtles, rays, tons of fish, starfish, anemone.
Not a sales pitch nor request for referral. A great family day or couples chill.
Super comfy chairs in the back of the boat catch the sun, a little spray from the waves and beautiful scenery.
Highly recommend the full day to see water and views where only a boat can take you.

We've gone out with Captain Cory the last three years and it never disappoints. He goes above and beyond to to design an itinerary with you that meet/exceed your expectations. The boat is spotless and well equipped.
Cory has really interesting facts to share, and ask him about his navigation skills using the stars!
He always finds something new for us to visit. Snorkeling is first class, beaches exquisite, and I love the trip back to the harbor with music blasting and a cold beer in hand!
It's a 'not to be missed' experience and we will definitely be back.

Cory runs a fantastic charter service. Sparkly Clean, equipped with anything you might need and an expansive knowledge base of all the great spots around the islands.
This is our second outing with Phoenix and Cory delivered a completely different trip while factoring in weather (super windy) to ensure we had the best chance at seeing turtles! Stingrays! Parrot fish galore!
Cory’s style is very unobtrusive yet he is ready to share all his experiences and suggestions once back on the ground.
We have already picked out our next date on Phoenix and can not wait to return.

Captain Cory was fantastic, and the private charter trip was everything we hoped for as a group. I connected with Cory prior to the day of our trip to gather some information on what we would like to do day of. He was responsive, and even called me to talk things through because it was going to be 30mph winds on our charter day. He even gave us advice to what beaches to experience and food to eat the day prior to our trip which was a perfect day.
Captain Cory is one of the best captains and boat handlers I have experienced. Even with very high winds, this ride was as smooth as a Cadillac! I can't say enough about Cory and his knowledge of the island and his laid-back approach to making your trip everything your group wants, as this is totally customized to what you would like to see or experience. We had 6 adults, celebrating a birthday, that simply wanted to hangout, see some islands, drink, and enjoy the scenery with good food.

My family of 4 took had a fantastic time with Captain Cory. He reviewed what we like to do and customized a trip that worked perfectly working mostly around St. John. Although others on our cruise said they had some significant chop on the water, Captain Cory knew the area so well he always kept us in smooth and protected areas for snorkeling and even a private beach. The taxi ride from the cruise ship and back was easy enough (just remember cash.). I highly recommend Captain Cory without reservations. If we ever make it back to St Thomas we will be booking him again.

My family of 6 including 4 kids from 8 to 17 did a day trip with Captain Cory on the Phoenix. He picked us up in St. John and we had a wonderful time. Captain Cory was great. They are very flexible and will work with you to customize an itinerary. Basically, they will give you suggestions and you decide where you want to go. We decided to start of with sugar mill ruins, then hit a bunch of great snorkel spots and that are inaccessible from land on St. John. For lunch, we went to Lovango on their private island, which was so cool. Also saw some great sights, mixed in some swimming and paddle boarding. What can I say - it was an awesome day! Highly recommend this trip.

Captain Corey took us on the Phoenix for a day we won’t forget. We were a family of 5 who had previously taken a charter earlier in the week. This boat was by far superb with plenty of shade and sun options. Corey was most accommodating with helping us decide where we wanted to go on our trip. He took us to amazing reefs where we saw an assortment of colorful fish, sea turtles, and tarpon. We visited two different sugar mills with an enjoyable short hike. Corey showed us some hidden gems and was in the water to guide us in caves and along cliffs. Lunch at Lime Out was a fun experience with great tacos. I highly recommend Corey and the Phoenix!!!!!!!!

Wonderful charter! My husband, myself, our 3 year old, and our 6 month old baby (along with our nanny) hired Captain Cory and his boat the Phoenix for our charter in May. Cory was fantastic about accommodating our needs with 2 little kids on board. We snorkeled with turtles, swam up to a few gorgeous beaches, relaxed on the boat, paddleboarded, and enjoyed a beautiful day on the water. The boat is very nice and comfortable and offers plenty of shade which was great with kids, but also sunny areas for basking in the sun. Cory is a super experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly guy. Would definitely recommend booking a charter with him!

Captain Corey gave us an unbelievable trip around the USVI. He was so accommodating and wanted to know what we wanted to do. From that, He picked out great snorkeling spots and a tasty lunch spot. We all had a great day on the water. Our “boys” are 20 and 23 and they had a fantastic day. Thanks, Corey!

We had a fabulous day with Captain Corey. He took us all over from Lovango to Reef Bay to Christmas Cove all before lunch and then more locations after. We saw turtles, an eagle ray, squid and about a million fish. Corey also went out of his way to make sure the two of us were satisfied, safe and comfortable. The experience resulted in the best day of our trip to US VI.
