Mammawanna!!!

Fun little place! You must drink a shot of Mammawanna and then go feed a pig beer. Forewarning, if you drink the mammawanna, you may end up wanting a mamma!!!!

We went mid afternoon, and they were out of food. The drinks were fine, and the pigs were much more entertaining than I anticipated. The pigs seemed healthy and particularly happy, and we got to see 8 2 week old piglets wagging their tails happily. Two of the pigs are absolutely huge, and a couple of them are quite affectionate... This is the coolest locals bar, located in the heart of the rain forest. Main attraction is the beer drinking pigs. HUGE pigs that prop their hooves up, spread their fanged jaws wide and wait for you to pop a non-alcoholic beer in their mouths. Crunch, crunch, they smash the cans, guzzle the beer and spituie out the cans. Before... More

Finding the Mt Pellier Domino Club is half the fun. A winding drive thru the rainforest and you can easily drive right by. The bar itself is so quaint and homey you'll be taken in by the open air and ambiance. Try the 'mammawanna' just to say you did. Definitely take some pics and make some memories.

Everyone needs to see the "beer" drinking pigs! Cold bear, great burgers. A bit out of the way but worth the drive up the mountain.

This place was amazing! The bar is really nice and the drinks are out of this world. Have to try the mamawana, it is so good. they make it there. And then there are the pigs. You have to feed the beer to the pigs. You are really missing out if you don't!!

This place was way off the beaten path in the midst of the rainforest. We heard about it and just had to go. Unfortunately, the drinking pigs had too much to drink that day since we got there late in the afternoon. We didn't get to try the food either, since they had already closed the grill when we arrived.... More

Try the local "mommawanna" rum shot. Don't say I didn't warn you, though -- it creeps up on you. Then watch the pigs down their cans of O'Douls. You won't see anything like this anywhere else. The staff is fun, courteous and helpful. This bar is in the rainforest, so get off the beach and explore the interior of the... More

I knew I wanted to visit the Domino Club, but this visit "Grunt" had her new sweet little piglets running about! Couple of cans of O'douls to all the piggies and it was priceless! The mangos daiquiri and some mamajuana shots! A "Must do" in St. Croix!

Take the winding road into the rainforest and STOP at Mount Pellier Domino Club. Sit at the bar, talk to the server and the others. Find out about the mystery drink in that little plastic glass and try some (it's mama wanna and you will wanna try it!). Lunch is whatever is cooking for the day - we happened upon... More
