great place to dive

We were diving in St. Croix for a week and the pier dive was one of the best dives. Don't miss it when diving St. Croix

This is a great pier for diving and/or snorkeling. We recently visited St. Croix and using a local dive shop did bot ha day and a night dive on the pier. I've never seen so many seahorses and frog fish in one spot. Access is easy and convenient.

We were staying on the island and went down to Frederiksted to catch a sunset sail. The town was like a ghost town. The sunset sail was great, but we avoided Fred. the rest of the trip.

This is definitely up there in the list of best pier dive sites, (along with Lahaina in Maui, and Salt in Bonaire?). 'Have done several day and night dives over the years and find that it never fails to please. The pilings are beautifully encrusted and there is a wealth of creatures- from bigger, (octopus, squid, turtles, rockfish, shark) to smaller,... More

There were kids jumping off the pier into the water. It was cool watching all their flips and dives. After the sun set, other kids were out doing tricks on their skatedoards and a few folks out fishing. There is overnight security to keep everyone safe while out taking in the sites.

Loved fishing from the pier at nights. Plenty of room for lots of fishermen and everyone is pleasant. Also awesome to watch the sea bass swim around and, if you're lucky, you get to see sea turtles and rays swim by.

The pier seems to be the place to be in Fredriksted! While we were visiting they had several events including fireworks for the 4th of July.

Beautiful corals, turtle, small and medium small fish. Calm waters. Palm trees favorite was the variety of corals.

We went on a dive under the pier. The life that lives just under the surface is stunning. Watch out for the homeless population just a few blocks away. Use your head while exploring Fredricksted. Don't leave anything in the open in your vehicle and don't flash anything of value. Other than that, it's a great place.
