We did this with our 7 and 9 yr old kids. The pedals on the kayak are everything when a child is on board and I definitely did not feel like I was missing anything being in a kayak that I couldn't see thru. The faster kayak was much appreciated at the end when you just want to get back.... More

First, and most important, if you want to relax, then pedaling a kayak is soooo easy! Great equipment and really a cool tour. The kids loved dragging the net through the bay and watching them glow in the water. The blue glowing jellyfish were an added bonus and adds to the excitement. It's a relaxing time and loads of fun.... More

This experience was so nice!! I never saw the bioluminescence before, and I have to say that it is worth it 100%. Our guides were awesome, provided a lot of information and were very kind and full of passion & energy! I am used to kayaking, although I never tried that system: you can paddle or use your feet with... More

We kayaked the bioluminescent bay in St. Croix. It is one of the 5 bays left in the world today. Jon, our guide, was SUPER knowledgeable about the history of the island and the bio bay. Since it was raining, thundering, and lightening when our tour started, he also made sure that our safety was his number one priority. HIGHLY... More

We are so glad we used this company. The bay was beautiful. We loved the pedal kayaks. We had four teenagers and an eight year old and a twelve year old. This was everyone's favorite thing we did the whole time on st. Croix.

This kayak tour was a last minute find and last minute decision. It was likely the highlight of our entire trip to St. Croix. We had a great time kayaking in a biolumescent bay in one of the few places in the world where they still exist. I would recommend this trip to anyone, young and old, adventurer or couch... More

I had our trip booked when I had learned that STX has a bioluminescent bay. This was something that was a must see for me, and it certainly did not disappoint! There are a few different ways to see this absolutely beautiful natural wonder, but the one thing that stood out to me about Virgin Kayak Tours while deciding which... More
