The best part of our vacation was an excursion out to Buck Island. The water is turquoise and the fish and coral are beautiful. We took a Big Beard catamaran and snorkeled and then had lunch on a secluded part of the beach. It was the best time ever!

According to our tour guides, the beach here is lined with deadly manchineel trees, but that only adds to this beach's remote appeal. This is once removed from civilization, a few picnic tables the only evidence that this small island is a national monument. Beautiful beach all the same, and worth a visit.

We sailed here. Surprised to learned that you needed permission and it took 5 days to process. So if you're here on your own boat, plan ahead. We did get our permission, and it is good for a year. Seas were a little rough, so we had the place to ourselves. Nice, but there's better on other islands. Just sayin.

Want to feel as if your alone on a private island? Sail over for the day and enjoy. The hike up the trail is worth it, great views!

Caribbean Sea Adventures took me there and it was paradise! The most beautiful beach I have ever seen or swam in and I have been to a few! I recommend it to everybody that loves beaches!

Smooth sailing from Christiansted with Jolly Roger. The seas were calm and the water was a beautiful turquoise blue. The underwater snorkel trail was so interesting. We got some great shots of all types of coral and fish. We even saw a 6 foot shark about 25 feet from the boat when we were returning. It definitely got my heart... More

I had snorkeled on two other islands of our cruise with no instruction or guidance. On this one, Miles gave lengthy lesson to those who wanted it and made sure you were comfortable before letting you go. I got sooo much more out of it. Great having marine biologist Amanda onboard to ID species. Nice to see area being so... More

Really enjoyed Captain Llewellyn's sail to Buck Island. We enjoyed a terrific sailing experience, snorkeling in the Park, and playing from the sandy beach on Buck island. Captain Llew was a great guide, and a lot of fun to chat with. Made us feel very safe, as he led us through different parts of the coral reef. You could see... More

I have visited here twice. Absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous water and coral formations. There are fish everywhere. Highly recommend it to everyone but please do not touch anything that is alive.
