A pleasant round of golf

The course has a nice layout and was in good condition. Not very busy. Played the first few holes alone until I caught up with a twosome.

I had a wonderful experience at Carambola Golf Club. When I arrived the golf shop staff was very friendly. It was a Wednesday and the course was not very busy so we were never pushed and we never had to wait. The course was in much better shape than I had anticipated after reading a lot of the reviews but... More

Fantastic Robert Trent Jones layout, Usually needs a littleTLC Starter Johnny is the best and Tyrone is a great bartender, did not make it there this year but have been going there for at least the last 20 years - miss it!

Serious maintenance deficiencies. While an exceptional design, traps are dirt, fairways are anything but, greens are rock hard, as is the range. An extremely perfect RTJ work of art has faded into obscurity. Don't bother.

We're not golfers, but thoroughly enjoyed going to the Carambola Golf Course to have breakfast or lunch overlooking the course. We were looking for an alternative to the high prices for food at the Carambola Beach Resort where we were staying. Pauli and Lori from the Blue Water Terrace on the east end now run the small restaurant/deli located at... More

For $85 (which included $40 off for being a Carambola resort guest), I expect a course that is maintained to a higher standard. Rocks in the sand bunkers still. A tractor leaked all its hydraulic fluid onto the first hole right in our path, so that caused a considerable delay and no doubt killed that grass off for a while.... More

I always look forward to playing a Robert Trent Jones course so was all too happy to take my clubs with us to St. Croix. True to RTJ the layout is sweet and pleasing to the eye. Unfortunately the course conditions were quite pedestrian to poor. Many of the fairway bunkers that would normally add definition and perspective have been... More

On Wed and Fridays, ( probably only off season I would imagine) they were running a special, $35 including a golf cart. We were excited to check out this course since it was designed in the 60’s by Robert Trent Jones. It is much different than the Ocean Course at the Buccaneer. It is longer and a bit more challenging.... More

The course was well designed and a beautiful location, but I was certainly surprised and disappointed at the conditions....they were just awful and I'm not sure why. It will take alot of work to get this course "up to par".

decent layout, approx 6850 from back tees, quite a few holes with carries over water to green, hilly and a tough course to walk with pull cart. not in great shape with grass over running the sand in most of the bunkers, slooow greens. certainly not an easy course, quite enjoyable. if you need a golf fix on an actual...
