This was very beautiful. Very rough the day we were there. Rocky rocky rocky.... The resort where this beach is has not reopened from the hurricanes a year and half ago. They are making progress but not sure when that will happen.

Enjoy a nice hike to the beach and totally enjoy the seclusion and natural beauty of the bay. Enjoy a walk along the bay to see calm quiet waters and some sea life. A MUST SEE LOCATION!!!!

Fun Fact: the final scenes of the movie "Trading Places", with Eddie Murphy and Dan Ackroyd, (the sailboat and beach scene) were shot at Davis Bay, before the resort was built. :)…

Davis Bay at the renaissance resort was terrible Rocky, no sand and very agressive seas. Not recommend for snorkling. Hpefully in the coming years they can restore the beach at least.

My family has been to St. Croix numerous times, and this is still the most beautiful spot we’ve found on the mainland. Views of Ham’s Bluff to one side, views of the tallest mountains on St. Croix to the other side. Palms and nice sand. Even with the damage from the hurricanes (blue tarps are noticeable), it remains the best vista on STX, in my humble opinion.…
