Attracted by previous reviews of the T & C Tennis Academy, I scheduled a series of 4 lessons with Rey. He is very friendly and easy to meet but quickly becomes all business about your tennis game. He will look for and quickly identify any flaws in components of your game, then break them down into biomechanical elements. He then addresses the problems with instructions that are easily understood and implemented. Just as important in my view, he attempts to customize the recommendations to your style and level of play. Definitely not a “one style fits all” approach. I was very pleased and highly recommend Rey to anyone interested in improving their game.

Highly recommend tennis with Rey while on TCI. Had two great lessons. He immediately saw a key issue with my forehand, gave great instruction on how to fix, breaking it down in a way that was easy to understand and put immediately into practice. Same with net play / volleys. A good mix of hitting and instruction, and I got a great workout too.

Incredible tennis 4 days in a row with Rey from Colombia! My friend and I did a warm up lesson the first day and then my husband and I played Canadian doubles (needless to say we never won!). Such. Fun and so good for our game!

Two lessons with Jean-Guy Cossette seriously upped my game, and I went to TNC for the beach! He is a naturally talented teacher. He listens, observes, and gives you exact appropriate tips to help your game. I planned on only 1 lesson to mix up my 4 days but immediately signed up for another. Highly recommend, you won’t regret it!

My first time to Turks & Caicos and I didn’t know really what to expect much less be able to find someone and someplace to play tennis. TripAdvisor reviews all pointed To TCI and Rey. I called the number and Rey answered just 2 weeks before my travel. I had 3 days of tennis action and instruction. Rey is awesome, very courteous and attentive to your needs. The tips and drills I received have helped my forehand immensely. I can’t wait to go back to TCI and will definitely see Rey.

Rey did a great job of hitting with our daughter Katie who is on the pro tour. She wanted to train whilst we were on holiday in the Turks and Caicos in preparation for some upcoming tournaments and we were really lucky to find Rey. He is really positive and enthusiastic and proved to be a really good hitting partner for Katie. He is an experienced tennis coach and was always smiling and working hard. We would highly recommend him to work with children and adults. Thank you so much Rey!

Arrived from Europe for a 5 day stay in Provo. Contacted Rey a couple of days in advance and everything went very smooth. Quick response and confirmation. He sent one of his Pro´s ( Rikardo ) out to my hotel to give me the lesson there. 60 minutes of perfect tennis training! Not cheap, but definitely worth the money..

Amazing courts to play on in paradise! I have played with Ray every time I have been to Turks. He is an excellent coach who goes above and beyond. He even picked me at the resort I was staying at call Villa Renaissance which is super close.
I have been to a couple of different islands and one thing I look for is tennis courts and great pro's. This is the first time I actually found what I was looking for.

Over the course of a week stay on TCI I had five lesson/hitting sessions with Rey. My intention going in was just to have a hitting partner for the week that would challenge me. Rey went way above and beyond that. He worked with me on tactics, the geometry of tennis, building points, as well as technique. Rey worked with my strengths and my style of play, which I appreciated. He was patient and fun but pushed me during that week and my game has improved noticeably. Rey was very accommodating on times/locations for our sessions and was a complete delight. Not every great tennis player is a great coach…Rey is both. Highly recommend him to everyone interested in tennis (no matter the level of your game) while in Provo. Rey and TCI Tennis Academy are the best!

Came to TCI with my wife to relax on the beach, but wanted to play some tennis while there. Took 6 lessons with Rey just expecting to have someone to hit around with etc. Turns out he is an incredible teacher too!
Rey is high energy, passionate, fun and is able to give simple and direct feedback to improve your strokes. I made major progress in all of my strokes, forehand, one handed backhand, volley and serves. Really enjoyed learning with him.
At one point, my hand got blisters from playing so much, so the next day he brought bandages, and tape and got me all set up. He came to my hotel each morning which also added to the convenience. Strongly recommended playing with him. Thanks Rey!

The best non resort courts that are accessible to everyone are at Graceway Sports Centre. Close to Graceway IGA. Costs $30/hour. Reasonably protected from the wind. Portable pickleball nets on tennis courts with extra sets of lines for pickleball. They don’t have enough play for “open” play so you have to have a group to play with.
