We chartered Captain Phil’s 60 ft. Seadancer during our first trip to Turks and Caicos. Our group included 2 adults and 16, 14 and 11 year old.kids. Captain Phil and Oscar were amazing. Both were extremely hospitable & accommodating.

The excursion included stops for snorkeling on the reef as well as to Pine Cay to explore the island. They provided fresh snacks & a delicious Caribbean lunch, before we went Jet skiing and tubing.

Phil and Oscar were very knowledgeable, patient and professional, and safety was always a priority.

One memorable moment stands out when my husband’s drone fell into the sea. Oscar and Phil immediately coordinated its retrieval from the sea floor & were extremely helpful with mitigating the water damage. They expressed genuine concern & exceeded all expectations.

We would absolutely recommend this private charter to anyone looking for a wonderful experience while visiting TCI. We will most likely do this again with future visits. We had an amazingly memorable time.

My wife and I chartered Lady K for a 1/2 day and while it was a windy day, the Captain (Toto) and his mate made the day a success. We visited Iguana Island and a sand bar where we were able to gather a few sea shells. They even took on a tour of homes on the canal which were incredible. Toto was very kind and polite and was a very good captain.

My husband and I have been coming to Turks and Caicos every year since 2015, and every year we do the normal full day charters around Provo (snorkeling, shelling, beach BBQ, etc.) As much as we love that experience, I have to say the private charter to West Caicos on the Lady K was our absolute favorite. Captain Kevin, and first mate Leslie made this amazing day even better. We had such a great time with them, and were so sad to say goodbye! They took us to the Blue Lagoon for some phenomenal snorkeling. There was so much to see, we could have stayed in that area all day long. The lunch provided was out of this world, and a cooler stocked with plenty of drinks to stay hydrated was much appreciated. We got to do a little cliff jumping (trust me...it's much higher than it looks), and exploring on the most beautiful beach. West Caicos is a hidden gem...completely uninhabited, and I really hope it stays that way. It was so nice to not be surrounded by other boats and tourists and to be able to completely relax and take in the beauty of this part of the island. To Kevin and Leslie, we can not thank you enough for everything you showed us when we spent the day with you. We are already talking about next year. Thank you both for the best day ever!

My family and I had taken a day charter with Captain Fefe about 8 years ago with his deckhand Tom and had a blast. We paid 2500$ for that trip plus tax and gratuity. I can not say the same about this trip. We were celebrating my 40th with family and friends and spent a fortune on this day charter for the whole day and were looking so forward to it. We made a stop on the way for some champagne and liquor which were for the entire week and we didn’t want to leave in the car and ruin so we brought it on board. We told the captain that and for the rest of the trip we were lectured on drinking and how he didn’t believe in getting “smashed” and passing out. We made it perfectly clear to him that we weren’t there to get “smashed” but simply made a stop for the rest of the week and didn’t want it to ruin in the car in the heat. He still remained to be very passive aggressive and continue to give us his beliefs on how life should be lived and tried to ridicule us. He wouldn’t let us go down in the cabin and had as many rules and aggressive behavior as the soup nazi off of Seinfeld if you are familiar. The food was mediocre especially for a 6500$ trip. Read the other 1 star review and Captain fefe’s response to it and you will see what I mean about the passive aggressive behavior I’m speaking of. He’s had some bad experiences w guests in the past from asking around the island about his behavior and has gotten aggressive and has so many rules. I travel a lot and take boat excursions all the time and he is by far the worst Captain on this trip I ever have had. He even laid on the horn aggressively as we came back in to another boater that was in front of him. I stayed my distance from him most of the time and my husband had to tell him to pipe down with his aggressive behavior and we were there to have a good time for my birthday and not get “smashed.” If you love tons of rules and to throw away money this is the trip for you. If you like carefree fun times look up tropical waves jet ski tours at sapodilla bay. That was our best day at Turks. See my review of grace bay portofino as well. Amazing place!!! One more thing, his deckhand Cameron was precious and hopefully is off to more enjoyable experiences in his life!!

Oh Well, even taught I find that review pretty insulting or revolting, I have very little to say, I was under the impression you had a great time, and that we offered a good service on a very nice vessel, how much you drink, frankly is not my business, and as long it doesn't affect some activities for safety reason, such as Jetski or Snorkeling , I understand people like to have a few drinks in vacation ! Well, even taught that review is pretty extreme, and not sure about the motivation to write such comments, but that what it is. Wish you the best in the future. Best regards Philippe

Hopefully this can save someone else, my money is gone at this point. This boat is advertised as a 6o ft boat. When we arrived at the dock, the first mate said it was a Searay 540, not a Searay 60, which is a 60 ft boat. As we boarded the captain gave us a list of rules and also mentioned that we could not use the Wave Runner since we were drinking. At this point, I as well as others in our party had not consumed any alcohol. As we headed out our first stop was @ Iguana island. Nice stop, the first mate Cameron escorted us around the island for a quick tour. As we headed back to the boat, instead of lowering the hydraulic swim platform, he made us climb some makeshift ladder on the back of the boat right where the exhaust exited. Not even sure what the next stop was, he pulled up to an island and told us to look at the rocks? Nothing really to see. We then headed to the reef to go snorkeling. The water was pretty choppy and we anchored about 40 yards away from the reef. We are all pretty good swimmers and I don't think any of us felt comfortable in the water. It was rough and all the captain did was tell us it was not rough. He basically let the ones in the water fend for themselves. Again, not lowering the swim platform to make it easy to get out of the water with snorkel and fins on. We had a few that were not feeling well and asked if we could go on the other side of the island, where the water was calm, which he ignored. The "gourmet" food consited of wraps, cut fruit and macaroons. It was fine, but far from gourmet. He did offer beer, water and his special rum punch, which was some cheap rum with a mix of pineapple and orange juice. He took us on a tour up and down of Grace bay to kill the rest of our time. The whole trip he constantly berated his first mate, Cameron. Who was the bright spot of the trip. He really tried his best even with the captains attitude. The captain seemed more interested in talking about himself than taking care of his guests. We spent $6000 on a 4 hour trip and ever one of us feels this way or maybe worse. We even tipped $600, hoping that it would go to his first mate, probably not though. What was supposed to be one of the highlights of our trip to Turks ended up being a nightmare.

I believe it is important to reply to such review: 1.Se dancer is a Sea Ray DA 550, and 59.7 ft in length 2.The rules, always part of the staff and trip presentation, safety equipment, boat spec, as well as Itinerary, preferences etc... as for RULES ? well really, for decent, educated, manners and respectful people there are not much, folks are asked to please dry best than can before entering the cabin because it is carpeted and it will never dry properly, while using the toilet Please don't put toilet paper, tissue and Lady product in the toilet bowl as boat toilet are more fragile so please remember to put in the small trash can in the toilet room. 3.The Jet Ski: Jet ski is an extra, and in order to ride the jet ski, you have to be 18, know how to swim, and no drug or alcohol using before or doing the jet ski....most likely if we didn't do the jet ski, is because you must have come drinking, I do not have any merit to no rent the jet ski, but I have liability, and that is a details that unrespect full, or decadent people do not understand...the jetski is a fast machine, people can get hurt easelly if they do stupid thing, as well as damaging teh machine, and so we take it very seriously, most of our guest are very respectful, understand, and have a good time with it. 4.The ladder is a Amstrong dive ladder with 4 steps, and not a big challenge, especially if you are as, you mention a very good swimmer. However, we do use the platform time to time when we have challenged people, either older age, or people with injury, just as a note. 5.Food, it is what is advertise, for people reading that, you need to know that this is our basic PKG , and that we can pretty much order anything different or special on request and at extra CH which we do time to time, however request such as Vegan or Vegetarian are not billed extra. 6.Rum Punch: yes, we keep it simple, and offer the original recipe, Fresh Pineapple and OJ mix, with Local rum...which is actually pretty good, and not a cheap rum as mentioned... welll again most of our guests really enjoy it, but again, Rum punch not for everyone? at least we use fresh juice and good rum, and don't mix other juice such as grenadine, or another additive. 7.Berated the 1st mate? most unlikely, Cameron has been working with me o that boat for the past 8 months, and he is a well manner and speaking young man, and a good swimmer, which is very important for me, then there is front stage and backstage, most importantly, don't try to judge an individual, either a good way or a bad way after 4 hrs time spending, but you can only have some sort of impression ! As far as myself talking about me all day, again, I do talk to guest, and I always interact and answers when guest ask questions, but most important for me is for guests to enjoy their time with their friends and family, however most time, we have good laugh and fun, guests are always curious about things and then we talk, however, light conversation and fun which most time is fun for everyone. 8.Snorkeling: I take snorkeling very seriously, everyone has to wear a Skl vest (which can be inflated or deflated for people who like to free dive) because the liability and safety, and the mate guide the tour, as well as carrying a Swimmer Float for safety again, I will never put snorkeler in a challenging situation, and if the condition are too hard we don't do it, if the condition are acceptable but it is a little choppy than I let the folks make their own decision, my guess on your trip we must had a little chop, as far as anchoring boat 30 to 40 f yards away from the reef, that might be about right, boat is 60 ft about 20 yards, and then the anchor line which might be another 20+ yards, which is as close as you can anchor the boat, beside the fact that we are also very careful and don't anchor on the reef as too many other operators, if you are a l swimmer than that should not be a big issue, and if you are a good swimmer as you claim, then that will be a walk in a park sort of speak. 9.Took us to a beach to look at rocks? not sure about that one, but it seems like I took you to Water Cay, which is in my opinion one of the best-looking beach of the TCI, very popular with photographers/phot shoots etc...due to the Sea wall formation , but again for some people a Beach is just a pile of sand with some rock...well that will sound like a construction site to me...but that will no describe Water Cay. 10.Killing time to cruise along Grace Bay ? again, cruising along a beautiful shore, to explore or most time to try to find JoJo our resident dolphin, is not exactly killing time, but try showing you what the island has to offer...and if I wanted to kill time, I will not cruise and burn extra fuel, but park you on a cove for some time...a lot of other operators do that...we don't. 11. Ignore request to go to the South Side where is protected? again, impossible, guests ask me time to time about going to teh South Side, but unfortunately the channel access is too shallow for that type of boat, and we can't do it, and every time guest ask either at booking or during the trip we tell them. It will be great if that channel was deeper, but it is not. 12.6000 USD for a 1/2 day trip, it is possible if you had a party of 22+, we charge 2800.00 up to 6 pax, and 150.00 ea extra, and a 12% Gvt Tax , so you can do the math. I did look at my logbook, and I haven't had many group of that sort the past 6 months so I am confuse? we had a party of 25 on July 26 and the wx was great, 20 on Aug 03 again wx was great with a few rain spots and 20 on Sept 02 but again the wx was great and calm sea...so I am confused on which day was that trip? I kep track of all my trips, wx, # of guests etc...and I don't see anything that match? inconclusion, I can't see that review honest and proper, however it is what it is, some folks enjoy doing such things for what ever motivation. I have been in biz in this Islands for 35 years, thousands of charters, that's all I can say, but most important I want to be sure that people who are looking at booking our trips believe and understand, that we are a professional organization, we like folks to have fun and enjoy a great day, on a very well maintain vessel, we offer quality skl equipment, safety is a very important part of our trips, and we are not looking at decadent groups who are looking to entertain themself by intoxicating themselves with whatever substance, blast some vulgar and unappropriated bad music, and jump around all over the boat trying to duplicate some bad and decadent music video or whatever it can be. The majority if not most of our guests are very pleasant and respectful and enjoy our company and services as well as what the Island has to offer, and that the way it should be. If you are looking at blasting bad music, intoxicated yourself to the max, and are totally disrespectful and rude individual, we are not your fit. If you feel that being professional, safe, fun and experience is a good fit for your trip, then we hope to see you soon. Have a good day everyone Philippe

Captain Lavelle and Keith were wonderful and knowledgeable about the sites. They worked to make the trip fun for our kids. I would definitely recommend doing the whole day tour. We did half a day and plan for a full day next time!

What a great day on the Lady K! Rico and Lavelle were terrific. The half day tour was the perfect amount of time for the eight of us. Diving for Conch, visiting iguanas, lunch and rum punch on a sand bar and scuba diving over a coral reef. A perfect day with a great crew!

We booked a half day charter , and it was awesome !! Captain & Ricco took care of everything . My kids loved Snorkeling , beach combing ,and looking for sand dollars. I was a bit worried about getting sea sick but the water is very smooth even at 60mph. Ricco lead my daughters into the water and gave them the best snorkling trip to date. The Lady K is stocked with beer, rum punch, water ,soda ,cheese & crackers, and a couple of fruit trays. We travel to TCI every year and the Lady K is a MUST !!
