My family visited TCI 5 years ago and stayed on Grace Bay. Someone told us we HAD to go visit Taylor Bay. I am so grateful they did. We swore then and there that someday we'd return to TCI and rent a house on Taylor Bay. Took us 5 years, but we did it! Beautiful, private beach with the softest... More

Not only was it quiet and empty but the shallow calm water makes this a perfect place to take kids and chill in your beach chair. I felt so calm here this place will always be a snapshot in my mind.

I have never seen anything like this beach. It was just so calm and beautiful. We were able to walk out soooo far and still be knee deep in the water. It was so calm too that was able to lay on my giant donut floatie and not worry about drifting too far. It was also extremely sunny. Thankfully we... More

Last time for us coming to Provo. The privatization of formerly public beach is awful. Not clear why the government of TC allows it. Beaches are why we came to TC .

Excellent beach for families with young children. A little off the beaten path, but as you walk onto the beach, you discover a true hidden gem. The water is no deeper than knee deep for almost the entire bay and the waves are almost non-existent... you feel more like a wading pool than a beach. There are no facilities on... More

This is the best beach on the island. Quiet and beautiful. The water is shallow and you could walk a long, long ways out. You will need to rent a car to access the public site. Worth the time to explore

This is our second time to Turks and Caicos, renting a villa on Chalk Sound. We love this part of the island. Earlier this week, we were saddened when we brought our kids to Taylor Bay Beach and we were prevented from accessing a once public path by recent sprawling over-development of the area around the Ocean Pointe Drive entrance.... Taylor Bay is sadly locked off and no longer accessible to the public. Many people believe that there should be a public right of way down to the beach, but currently the only access is via the water. Very disappointing to be blocked from accessing this lovely beach.

Taylor Bay is a stunning beach where you can walk out into the water for about a mile and it's no deeper than a few feet. Perfect spot for families with kids. This year, we stopped by after eating at Las Brisas to spend a few hours relaxing. To our surprise a developer bought the las property left and closed... More

We were able to access the beach because we had friends renting a villa on Sunset Bay Drive. A great spot for floating, lounging, and enjoying the beauty of the water. Just stunning. It's a shame that this beach, which has been open to both tourists and island residents forever, is now closed to land access for all but a... More
