Captain Eddie was an amazing guide who helped us catch dinner while at the same time navigating us through stunning scenes across reefs and shallows. Saw turtles, sharks, so many birds. A dream excursion!

We had so much fun on our first excursion Deep Sea Fishing with Captain Edward and first mate Soso, that we ended up booking a second trip to go reef fishing. Captain Edward and Soso handled everything and took us out to the best places to catch fish. We ended up catching 5 good size fish, although, you never know if the fish will be biting, but Captain Edward does everything in his power to make sure you catch something. They provided us with a great snack, midway.

I booked a half-day bone fishing trip with Capt. Ed while we were on the beach in the Turks. We were looking for something different to do. I had been fly fishing for bone fish once in the Florida keys and got none so my expectations were low. My friend didn’t fly fish so we used spinning gear and jigged for bone fish in the flats. Capt. Ed put us on the fish in 15-20 min and showed us the proper jigging motion. We ended up boating 8 bonefish ranging from 4-7 lbs!!! It was a spectacular half day of fishing. The boat, the gear, and the captain were all excellent. We will definitely be booking some fishing trips in the future with Capt. Ed. Highly recommend!!

We had a great half-day, seven-island excursion with Captain Peter. I couldn't fish or snorkel or jet-ski because I had a broken hand, so we took a private boat tour to take photos. Captain Peter gave us a lovely narrated tour of some great sites for photos, and dropped us off at Fort St, George for a beautiful beach walk.

We do not recommend this boat charter company:
Booked with Catch a Wave on the strong recommendation of a friend in the U.S. When I called them to book our family reservation of 5 for an "all day cruise" they told me one price. When I challenged them that my friend (who has a 2nd home in the TCI's) told me that the price was about 40% lower they told me that it was the Thanksgiving period and that they could based on their reservation volume. Understood and no different than a hotel or airline policy. However, when we arrived our scheduled day was canceled due to strong winds and safety. Again, we understood. But when we were penciled in for our cruise 2 days later they called us to inform us that they could not take us because all boats were full and they had no more captains! I spoke with the owner (Ed) and he aplogized and asked me what I was spending with them. Huh? I asked him what that had to do with our rescheduled cruise and he told me that we were getting a great experience for a cheap deal. Huh? Again, I told him that a local owner strongly recommended us and he didn't really care or so he exclaimed. Wow. I then told him that I would not have anything positive to say on 'Trip Advisor' and he told me to "knock my socks off!" While I have heard that this trip is a nice family outing we feel that they used our booking which was prepaid to back fill it with another family to get the higher fare. Needless to say, I had to deliver this dissapointing news to my family but we quickly found another dive shop (Big Blue Unlimited) that accomodated us. And there are other shops that can provide the same sort of cruise that we had thought we were booked on. Strongly do not recommend for poor business managment and mean owner.

The boat broke down 5 minutes into the trip. Didn't get back into the water until 10:30 am an hour and a half into the half day tour. Then instead of bone fishing we did some channel fishing on a non fishing boat. The back up boat was dirty and not prepared. After the trip captain ed didn't even offer any discount. I would never use this service again.

Our family boating outing was on a Thursday, the day was warm, yet not hot. The sky was partially filled with puffy, friendly clouds. Six adults and two children joined Captain Blaze and Wesley on the "Dirty Business".
The triple motors pushed us smoothly and reasonably quietly, the boat was comfortable and clean. The crew had brought sandwiches and water, there also was beer.
The Captain first steered us around the rusting freighter sitting in the bay. We then headed to a snorkeling area, the sea was rough, nevertheless we anchored and set about snorkeling. I noticed Captain Blaze was swimming around the area in large circles, I wasn't certain of what he was doing until I saw him on deck later in the trip. The area we snorkelled in was covered with silt, snorkelling was not great there.
Captain Blaze had gathered some critters for our review, there was a large hard shelled star fish which almost seemed like it was a plant, he also brought up several conchs. After an hour we pulled up anchor and went to a private beach where we swam and played while our good Captain Blaze prepared a fresh cerviche of the conchs.
Pulling up anchor we headed back to home base. Captain Blaze opened up the triple Merc's....zoom....our 3 year old grandson thought that was the best part of the trip.
The Captain brought us back to where we started, filled with the excitment of the trip. He also gave us some souvenir shells of the conchs we had just eaten. I stuck my head in the office and thanked the office crew as well, they did a good job also.

Had a great day fishing with Captain Ed. On our first bonefish trip ever we were able to land the target species on spinning gear. Boat was clean and new and captain was very experienced and personable. Water, beer and sodas were available. Ed worked to find us fish and we were rewarded.
One star off for something that we didn't pick up on until after the fact. Our half day trip actually turned out to be fairly short. We arrived at 9am as prescribed by Joyce and were rolling by 9:15. We returned to the dock at around 12:35, making the trip something like 3:20. Would have expected a half day trip to last 4 hours.
