About
We are the first and longest running kiteboarding school in the Turks & Caicos, since 2006. We have the most experience and most importantly, “Our Instructors Make the Difference!” We utilize bluetooth radio communication helmets in order to offer you just the right amount of instruction at the right time. This also eliminates watercraft which are noisy and a waste of time. We utilize this for all advanced beginners to advanced lessons. Our Instructors Make the Difference At KiteProvo, they know that the instructor makes the difference. KiteProvo has assembled a team of not only top level kiteboarders, but instructors that match our philosophy of taking a personal interest in the success of each and every student. Kite Provo then trains them in the art of communication and how to change teaching style to meet the learning style of our guests and new friends. The school manager, Chris Moore, has been teaching kite sports professionally since 1990 and kiteboarding since 1999. In 2002 Chris wrote the teaching manual for instructor certification, pioneering the PASA Kiteboarding Division. Using his extensive experience and passion for teaching, KiteProvo has trained the highest caliber of instructors on the planet right here in The Turks and Caicos. Great tour! The water was beautiful. Chris with SUP PROVO did an outstanding job showing us the wildlife and explaining how this wonderful eco system work. We saw everything the tour promised; baby sharks (only 18 inches long) sea turtles, fish and even a couple of green herons. I would definitely recommend the paddle boards for the best views (SUP PROVO stands for Stand Up Paddle Providenciales), but the kayak worked very well also.

Learning to kite with kite provo was an experience worth repeating. That's just what we did! This was the 7th year we met up with the staff to enjoy time on the water. Mike and Mawi have spent time with several family members over the years. Each trip builds on the last and kite provo keeps us motivated to learn the next skill. Top notch people.Top notch equipment.

I had four sessions this week with Alan, and I can not express how incredible the experience was. He surpassed ever expectation I had and took so much time planning and coordinating the instructions around what weather windows we had this week. He made me feel as if I was his only student all week, which I know was far from the truth. I am already planning my next trip. Thank you so very much, it was an experience I will never forget.

Wing boarding was a blast! I've always been interested in kiteboarding, but never really wanted to invest the time in learning on vacation. On this year's trip to Turks, I was looking around and saw Wing Boarding as an alternative at Kite Provo. It boasts that it's easier to get going and actually enjoy some rides in your first lesson. Given that, I was excited to try it. The experience was great! I had a lot of fun out there and my instructor, Allen, was really good. He had great tips for me after each ride and attempt. I got several fun rides in and really enjoyed getting to learn something new. I'll also say I got one heck of a workout - my legs and upper body were feeling it afterwards, but it was well worth it. I highly recommend checking out wing boarding with Kite Provo. I'll be doing it again next time I'm in Turks and probably anywhere else that offers it.

Chris was an excellent tour guide. We paddle boarded our way through the mangroves and not only saw tons of wildlife, but Chris also explained the importance of the mangroves and their surroundings. Our kids had a lot of fun seeing live conch, sea urchin, jellyfish, puffer fish and more up close. It opened our eyes to all the fascinating wildlife we may not normally notice. My favorite part was meeting all of the sea turtles in "Turtle alley". I will cherish that moment! It was very easy to paddle board with the kids on our boards. I highly recommend this tour for all ages.

Rented a board from them for few hours. Price was fair- plenty of kite boards to choose from, surfboards/twin tips.
Much easier than traveling with my own board- had a great windy day mowing the lawn and practicing some flat water tricks. I've kited several other islands and their setup is top notch, only thing that would have made it better would have been some waves!

Wonderful experience with the Kite Provo Team. My wife and I had never been paddle boarding but they made it easy for us. While seeing turtles, sharks and plenty of fish around the mangroves was fantastic our tour guide really made this special by sharing so much information about the mangrove island. This was more than a paddle boarding event it was truly an ecotour!

I can't imagine a better program, location and instructor. I started in Dominican Republic, then Antigua, and finally Kite Provo in TCI. Knowing what I know now, I would have skipped the first two. I progressed more in 1 day w/Mark at Kite Provo, than the others combined. Mark is not only a great kite-boarder and "natural" teacher, he is a great guy and genuinely enjoys watching you progress!
Their process is unique. Because of the water depth, the instructor is out there with you. No shouting from the beach. AND, they can see your form up close to provide great immediate feedback. They are also able to demonstrate for you, right there.
You could not design a better location to learn and progress : perfect winds; perfect depth; flat water. Tie that with great instructors, and you not only progress quickly, but have fun doing it!

We did the Eco Paddle-boarding tour and had the best time. It was a small, friendly group and we saw multiple baby sharks and tons and tons of turtles! Also saw urchin, jellyfish, and live conch and learned a bit about the interconnectedness of our ecosystem. Great tour, highly recommend!

We booked a paddle boarding tour from 8:15-10:15am. After a long paddle across the channel, we made it to the mangroves and saw all kinds of wildlife: conch, lemon sharks, and many sea turtles. It was really amazing.

In Turks and Caicos the water is shallow and the wind is low so for smaller children this is the best place in the world for them to learn

You should wear board shorts and a water shirt. Kite Provo can provide a quick dry water shirt that provides UV protection for $40.00, but you need to contact them in advance to request this. Contact them at 649-242-2927 or through website
There is no need for booties or water shoes.
