Absolutely unbelievable! My husband and I rented a kayak from Neptune Villas and kayaked in Chalk Sound for about an hour. A couple of times we stopped and just floated along without even saying a word - just soaking it all in. Words cannot even describe how beautiful it is.

When landing in Provo, you fly over chalk sound, and if you're lucky enough to have a window seat, you see how spectacularly blue the water is. We had to visit this place in person, and decided to start by having lunch at Las Brisas, which is a great little restaurant mentioned in another one of my reviews and situated... More

We spent a morning driving around and admiring the views. We stopped in at Sapodila Bay and Taylor Bay and then had lunch at Las Brisas. Not a lot to do other than enjoy the gorgeous views and take a dip in the gorgeous Bays (Taylor and Sapodila)

Chalk sound is what you fly over as you land in Provo. It is difficult to explain and must be seen in person. You get there by following South Dock Rd till you see a Police Station on your right and a big sign that says Chalk Sound , make a right here and it will be on your right.... More

While on an island tour, I visited Chalk Sound. It's very beautiful! The water is the most beautiful shade of blue I've ever seen!

The water looks amazing! calm waters, great for kayaking or paddle boarding. Make sure you visit, Las Brisas restaurant on your way out from Taylor Bay, it's a skip and a hop away from Taylor Bay. You would be happy you stopped by, amazing views.

When you drive over the hill and first see Chalk Sound on a sunny day, it is breathtakingly beautiful. Stop and take pictures. You can drive in off Scenic Lane.
