Perfect beach for anyone, but especially if you have little kids. It’s so nice to be able to walk out a long length at shallow (yet still crystal clear) waters. It’s a bay so there were minimal waves. I felt more at ease to let my kids play with a lot less anxiety than at Grace Bay.

It was about a 15 min drive from the Grace Bay area (we stayed at Alexandra Resort). Go down South Dock Road about 3 mi, turn right on Chalk Sound Road. There are two parking areas/entrances. First is a dirt road after a telephone pole pretty soon after you turn right onto Chalk Sound Road. The other is after you pass Las Brisas on the right. Recommend the latter.

Plenty of vendors selling drinks and food. Music was great - they were bumping 90s/early 2000s music so I was in my element.

Bring your own umbrellas/chairs/blankets if you can. Someone tried to sell my husband use of two chairs for $80 at the parking area, but he was able to get the same for $30 on the beach.

Some tour boats will come close to the beach to drop off passengers.

It’s totally worth renting a car to visit this beach. I think we spent no more than $100 for a mid size and the company outfitted it with a car seat and booster seat for my kids.

This beach is great in a lot of ways. There is white sand and turquoise water. It's very shallow, which is great for kids. You can rent chairs and umbrellas, and there are plenty of beach bar shacks offering fast food and drink. Many of them are playing music so it's not quiet.

It is a bit hard to get to. Most people seem to get dropped off by taxi. There is a tiny bit of street parking near the access, or paying $3 to park in Las Brisas for the day is probably the best option..

I planned on dining at Las Brisas Restaurant and was told by Resort staff, that Sapodilla Bay Beach was only a 10 minute walk from Las Brisas, and they suggested I visit as it is a very beautiful beach. And they were right about that! The white sand beach, and the calm, shallow, turquoise waters were absolutely breathtaking. Upon arrival, I was happy and surprised to find that you could rent chairs and umbrellas for a cost. Now I could stay a while and soak up all the beauty. Staff for the rentals were very friendly. Jet skis are also available for rent. NOTE: I have read some other reviews before posting my own, and I can say it was a little heartbreaking to read about the crowds, the garbage and other things. I did not see any of that at all. I was there during their slow season and that may be the reason. I recommend to visit, stay a while, and soak up the beauty of Sapodilla Bay Beach.

This is a beautiful beach with calm water, just perfect for kids. Several years ago it was a peaceful bay with one vendor renting chairs and umbrellas. In 2022 there are now up to 3 pop up bars, blasting music, jet ski rentals and more. This was a beautiful place for quiet relaxation. Now it’s loud + additional trash, boat, water sports and foot traffic. This was a gem for TCI. Really disappointing.

Lots of people , no shade. Jet skis available to rent @ $100 for a half hour. Umbrellas and lounge chairs available for rent. Drinks available to purchase. If there’s no parking, Las Brisas restaurant charges $3 for parking.

AMAZING. The vibe is perfect and the water is so relaxing. It’s a short distance from the lounge chairs to the water so the sound of the water washing up to shore can put you to sleep. It’s so peaceful. I like this beach because there are 2 bars and you can rent loungers and umbrellas. The loungers are $10 each and the umbrella is $20. Drinks are totally worth the $15. The bartenders make the drinks with fresh cut fruit and a heavy pour. They also sell jet ski and floatie rentals. Awesome beach to relax and chill for the day or a few hours.

Finding Sapodilla Bay Beach was one of my favorite surprises of my trip to the Turks. My husband and I rented a car and drove all over this island, stopping at several beaches along the way. They were all beautiful but this one was full of life, fun and beauty. We just lucked out by seeing cars on the side of the road and people walking down a narrow path to this beach. We decided we would park and see what was going on here, What a gem! Beautiful beach with drink stands set up, jet skis, food cooking on a grill, beach chairs with umbrellas and people having fun. The drinks were a great price and the view at sunset was as stunning as the homes built around this cove. It was truly a breath taking sunset. This was one of my favorite finds and one of my favorite days!!

This was our favorite beach on the island! It’s incredibly beautiful with turquoise water and white sand. The water temp is also very warm because it is soooooo shallow! You can sit in the water all day and enjoy a drink. The one thing we didn’t enjoy about the beach is one of the guys, Anthony, who owns a bar on the beach. He is very nice until you start buying food, drinks or anything from the other vendors. He only has rum and we wanted a smoothie and once we did that, he glared at us, passively aggressively made rude comments to us (just loud enough for us to hear), and acted like a 5 year old pouting like a little baby. It actually ruined our day because he was so horrible. I would avoid him and his stand at all cost until he grows up and starts acting like an adult. All the other vendors are wonderful and make great drinks and food! Highly recommend this beach- it’s a must see!

What a shame, been coming here for years. Now, aside from crowding way to many vendors on such a small pristine beach, there is a floating junky barge/bar blasting vulgar rap music from morning until night. It’s too bad the local government allows such a beautiful resource to be ruined.

We stayed in a villa on Sapodilla Bay beach. It was advertised as great for children because the water is still and calm. They just didn’t mention that the beach is just an insane situation of crowding, loud blaring subwoofer music, and disrespectful behavior. Such a disappointment for a vacation with children. BUT if you are a TCI local wanting to party from morning to evening, this is the spot.

Also every single villa on this beach is for sale for this reason. I don’t know why this family friendly beach became a nasty party joint but it is ruined.

I should say though, it is not loud at night, it is totally shut down so we never had it loud after even 8 or 9pm. And they do have security walking around, so it never felt unsafe, just chaotic. If you came for peace and quiet or a place that your children can play, it just definitely isn’t for that.

P.S. do not eat the food sold by the bar stands, it was beyond unsanitary what I saw them do with the food.
