My family had a blast on this tour! We loved snorkeling and seeing lots of fish, it was the perfect amount of time for my young kids who have never snorkeled before. The highlight was the floating playground, lots of jumping into the water for the 10 year old and the 7 year old loved the slide. My kids loved our visit to silly cay and digging on a “private beach”. Captain bill had a basketball competition which my kids didn’t want to do but it seemed like the others enjoyed it. We left my sons underwater camera on the boat and Captain Bill emailed me to make sure we got it back! He definitely went above and beyond, he was very funny and knowledgeable and we loved every minute!

This is a very nice boat (holds about 20-25 people) for variety of water sports. Found it in the Where, When, How quarterly magazine. Reviews were good so we booked a private group of 11. Captain Bill picked us up at our dock at our Villa on Taylor Bay. The snorkeling was ok that day. Saw some interesting fish and coral formations. The 3 hours on the water was just enough time for our group. Two snorkeling and swimming stops, one play stop. A play stop was using upper deck of the boat. Slides, swings, trampoline, two dive boards 14’ and 20’ from water were a lot of fun. The only reason I didn’t rate this a 5 star is Captain Bill, he was a good captain but his jokes and conversation during most of the three hours was a bit too much. Safety briefing were good but talking about the welding used to fix or expand the swing slide were a bit too much. I would say he talked for 30 minutes of our three hour experience. Felt like he was a little too much for our group.

We loved our boating adventure. Our kids had a great time. They were ages 6, 10, and 12 and they all did the activities. Snorkeling was limited to about 30 minutes. We spent about 45 minutes with the boats activities. And about an hour at an island with snacks and basketball and floating. We would have preferred to just ditched the last part of the boating and spent more time snorkeling and jumping off the boat.
Capt Bill is lots of fun. He talks alot. We enjoyed everything.

We did the sunset cruise. Overall it was a good time, but failed to meet expectations. Bill is a funny captain and very knowledgeable but wish we knew what his sunset cruise involved before going on it.
Every other sunset cruise I have been on in other areas involve going out off the coast to watch the sunset over the ocean. This was the opposite. We cruised around the Sapodilla Bay and Taylor Bay to silly creek for the first 45 min or so. Bill told us some stories and we looked at multimillion dollar homes. Which is cool and all, but just not what we thought it would be. We thought ok after this part Bill will take us out to the open water for the sunset. Nope… we then cursed back to Taylor bay for some “snacks” that involved basic chips and salsa and some crackers. After about 15 min of that we left Taylor Bay(and again, we thought we would go to the open ocean)… nope.. we went to go see the commercial docks for some reason. After that we went back to Sapodilla Bay and watched the sunset. There were literally people standing in the bay right next to the boat. In fact, the sun went behind clouds and then he got us off the boat as that happen. We didn’t even see the full sunset… overall it was a bummer of a trip. I am sure his other trips are great as I can imagine he knows a lot about the area, this just didn’t meet our expectations for a sunset cruise.

Kinda wish they had researched the cruising area before booking; the departure area is 10 miles from "going off the coast" Hopefully others will read this review and know what the sunset cruise consists of so as not be disappointed. This is the first review that mentioned this issue and I will detail further bookings so as not to have any others be disappointed. Please accept my apologies for not being what you expected. Capt. This trip was so much fun. I don't have kids, but the kids on this trip had so much fun and made it more fun for everyone. Captain Bill has a slides, a swing, a trampoline, a plank to walk, a high dive, and he keeps creating more. He'd recently added a basketball shoot out to the itinerary. Silly Cay was beautiful, and the snorkeling was fun as well. And Captain Bill is a hoot. He's been perfecting his rum punch, which is deliciously dangerous, and he's been perfecting his dad jokes as well and you can't help but laugh!

It was a lot of fun packed into 3 hours. Captain Billy’s non-stop monologue kept adults and kids entertained. And it was nice to rent beach lounges and have a drink on beautiful Sapadodilla Beach after returning.

We booked this trip primarily for our grandsons (11 & 14) and they had an absolutely GREAT time. Capt. Bill was fantastic- ensuring that everyone had a fun and safe time. The boat was wonderful - lots of shade as well as lots of different options for launching into the water. We saw a competing company's boat a few days before our trip and it as jam packed with people. Cap't Bill's was much nicer with room to move around. Go with Ocean Outback - you will NOT be disappointed.

Captain Bill provided a memorable boat day for our family. My teenagers loved jumping off the high dive and trampoline, going down the water slide and participating in the water basketball shoot out where we took home an adorable trophy. The scenery at the private island was exquisite and relaxing on the top deck on the bean bags was perfect. It leaves from Sapodilla Beach, which is perfect if you want to make a day of it. Would definitely recommend this excursion while visiting the beautiful Turks and Caicos Islands!

Absolutely not worth it. From the moment you step on the boat you are rushed through a series of steps from an overbearing captain. Inappropriate jokes in front of kids, contant pushing and yelling like we are a bunch of middle schoolers. Barely 15 minutes of snorkeling in an area with little to no snorkeling reefs. Came out of this tour overwhelmed. I highly discourage bringing teenagers older than 13yrs. Way too tacky. It’s definitely a “puppy mill” tour.

Please try to find issues that Mel mentioned on other reviews. I believe he may have joined the wrong tour and I definitely am not a pushy captain who tells inappropriate jokes. Most comment and enjoy my "dad" jokes. To this review, I am kinda frustrated that his family did not enjoy the tour and I offer my apologies Capt. Bill

Had an awesome time! The floating playground was so much fun! I felt like a kid again! I would recommend bringing your own snorkel gear if you have it as the snorkel gear seems a bit limited with the full boat. Rum punch and homemade spinach dip were amazing! I would recommend this excursion!

Is this tour only available on Tuesdays? We will be in TCI March 27-April 2 and are wondering if there are any dates any available other than March 30, which appears to be booked. Thanks!

Hi: We are booked for the Pirate Adventure Tour in April and would like to walk to Los Brisas Restaurant on Chalk Sound after the boat tour with Ocean Outback Adventures. It looks like you just walk through or around Neptune Villas and you are at Los Brisas. Does anyone know if it is as close as it looks on the map? Thanks!

Yes it is a short walk, just watch out for the traffic.

Hi: Your belief that the number was 649 333-0825 is actually 0824. The 941-5810 is preferred evenings 5-8 east coast time since it is a line phone and better connection than cell. Capt. Bill

Hi Heather,
Was interested in doing this tour in October. Can you tell me how you went about booking. My husband wanted to drive to this beach but after reading some reviews, I'd feel much safer doing a tour like this.
Thanks for any info you can provide...I'm counting the days until our trip!

I'm so very incredibly sorry. I never got this message. :( I hope you enjoyed your trip!
