Provo Ponies is a small riding stable located on the southeast end of the island of Providenciales. We do two guided rides a day, morning ride at 9:30am and an afternoon ride at 3:30pm during winter hours, 4:30 during the summer. We can take all experience levels from 7 years old and up (if they are younger they must be experienced riders). There is an extra charge if someone must be led. Everyone rides their own horse or pony, no double riding. We have a 200 pound weight limit. Groups are never more than 12 riders. Private rides are available for an additional fee. Helmets are available and are required for children 17 and under. We ride along quiet dirt roads and trails to Long Bay Beach, a 4 mile long beach. We do our best not to do nose to tail type rides, and more experienced riders are given the chance to trot or canter along the beach depending on the tides. The shallow waters of the Caicos Banks off Long Bay make it an ideal place to take your horse into the ocean. You can book a one hour ride or a 90 minute ride. We can arrange for transportation to and from your hotel.Reservations are required. A Visa or Mastercard number is required for all reservations, as well as weights and experience levels of all riders in your group so that we can properly assign horses to riders. We are a fully insured and licensed business in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

This was my third time in Turks and Caicos and I rode with Provo Ponies the last time. The last time I was very unexperienced and they were incredibly accommodating to me and my mother. This time it was just me on the ride even though it was technically a group ride. This time I came in with much more... More

Provo Ponies were very professional and fun. We had a group of 6 and had a blast. the ride was about an hour and we took the horses in the beautiful ocean. The pictures were amazing from our day. All the instructors were knowledgeable. We were a little sore the next day, but well worth it.

We went on a few different excursions while honeymooning in TCI, but this was by far the best. We booked a 90 minute private tour. Our guide Tina explained the ins and outs of riding to us and we felt very prepared when we mounted our horses. Riding in the ocean was SO amazing. It was the most peaceful, relaxing... More

This was such an amazing experience! They picked us up at our resort and took us back to their stables. There they matched us up with horses that best suite us based on riding experience and told us about each horse's personality. The leaders do a wonderful job of keeping everyone organized and safe as we walked along the road.... More

Provo Ponies goes to great length to match the riders' experience to the right horse to provide a satisfying experience. We were a group of 8 with two guides. Our 90 minute ride from the corral to the sea, walking in the sea, and cantering along the beach (for those who wanted to do so) and back to the corral... More

Our daughters, ages 10 and 13, really wanted to go horseback riding in Turks and Caicos. We booked an afternoon ride, there was about 12 in the group total. They match you with a horse based on skills etc. My horse was a little stubborn but still awesome. We went for a 90 minute ride down to Long Bay Beach,... More

Upon arrival, the employees asked our riding experience and matched us with horses bases on our skill. We had an amazing ride to the ocean and in the water. Thank you, we had an amazing time.

My wife and I booked a 90 minute private ride. From the time we arrived until the the time we left, we were treated like long-time friends. You can tell by looking at the horses that they are happy and well taken care of. Our horses for the ride, Pilgrim and Ike, are amazing. They were sweet and gentle. Our... More

Not a horseback rider but had to experience riding a horse in the gorgeous waters of TCI. It did not disappoint! Had an experience of a lifetime riding horses as a family and then into the blue clear water off Long Bay Beach in Provo! Just wonderful! Caroline the owner and Camaro were very knowledgeable, trustworthy and careful on the... More
