I wish I had seen the above review about MaxKart on Grand Turk. We had the EXACT same experience with them. The guy did not show up to meet us with a golf cart. Another kid was there and tried to contact him and he...More
Just got back from carnival cruise and one of the STOP was the grand turks. Every disappointing first impression. Beach was jamb wall to wall with chairs and umbrellas for rent but the tour we took was the PITs. We did the top 10 sites...More
Without the cruise center there wouldn't be much here. We were a little disappointed in how very little there was to do. The cruise center is a clean area that offered a nice variety of shops and restaurants.
This cruise centre is one of my favourites because everything is so close and convenient. There is a beach at the end of the pier with plenty of chairs to relax in and water to swim/snorkel in. There are plenty of little shops and restaurants...More

Yes the Cruise Terminal is immediately adjacent to the berth. I understand that the dock was purpose built for cruise ships and of course the pay-off was shopping mall immediately you disembark. A range of small independent tourist souvenir shops surround a glitzy jewellery outlet. Prices are typucal of such tourist areas so be cautious.
