As you get off the ships, the beach is only a stone throw away. Sand is soft and white and chairs are free, water is warm. There are a few rocks or stones in the water, but you can see them and just have to be careful. The ship is close enough to swim to which makes a beautiful picture.... More

Great location if you don't wish to pay for transportation to a beach. As stated before many free lounge chairs and palm tree shade. Get there early if you want one! Loud DJ emitting from Margueritaville was annoying but would be welcome if you love to party at a beach.

We enjoyed this beach on our cruise. Plenty of umbrellas, great sand and water. Not many place for eat or drink, but it was a nice day.

The beach is sandy with smooth rocks, some rocks very large. Water very warm in July. No waves. Very convenient five-minute walk from the ship. Not good for snorkeling. No sharp objects underfoot.

I loved the beach at the port. The water is so clear. The waves are a little rough at times but this is to be expected with Atlantic waters.

Very nice beach, some rocks on certain parts but overall good swimming. The beach chairs are free so don't let some local swindle you out of any money. The umbrellas are for rent for the day. It has cute little shops with resonable prices and the people are very nice. The whole island is only 7 miles long and really... More

Grand Turk is a nice small island in the Turks and Caicos. Ships dock almost on the beach. It is a very short walk, easily accessible by everyone, to the beach and a very nice shopping area. There is not much else to do on Grand Turk. There is a nice lighthouse at the far end of the island. There... More

If you come in on a cruise take a minute to browse the little shops. People are friendly. I took a snorkel and paddle board excursion on Carnival. Had a great time. We took a ride along the shoreline to a small dive shop. We paddled out to a great place to snorkel. Then we got a ride in a... More

It was a nice beach, but it wasn't the best — it was quite rocky and had lots of coral on the shallow. It's very close to the ship, so there's only a certain area where you can swim. The pool and shops were nice though.

The beach is just off of the port. The beach is man made, and I assume, a recent creation. Lots of rocks in the water, but the sand on the beach is beautiful. There are lots of lounge chairs but it is packed as it is free, and right off of the ship. We did not see anything of interest... More
