This is a beautiful beach. You can swim in the shadow of your cruise ship in beautiful blue water just beware of people asking you for money for a lounger. The cruise line places loungers on the beach and they are FREE. When you go, don't look like you're looking around - scout the empties from a distance then walk... More

The beach was ok. Very rocky with many holes. Because of the cruise ships that were docked the beach was very crowded. But otherwise a nice beach and nice place to relax and take in the sun.

SunRay beach is gorgeous and the 1st beach you come to once you get off the ship. This is the best area to stay in if you don't want to pay a taxi to go on a tour and go to the other side of the island. You can hear the music from Margaritaville if you are close enough and... More

We went on a taxi island tour and figured we wouldn't get chairs or umbrellas but there were plenty. The sand and water were perfect. There are some rocks in the water so just use caution so you don't kick them while walking. I brought my snorkel gear and saw a cannon and large anchor. There are plenty of fish... More

The beach (out in the water) was so so, rocky with deep holes, not too bad over all. Beach itself was over crowded and the local vendors/grifters are annoying and abundant. Do Not pay for the free chairs and clam shell covers! Umbrella are private property of these scam artists. At the very least, haggle with them.

This is a great beach for cruisers. It takes only a couple minutes to get to, the water is shallow and inviting, there are free beach chairs and plenty of food and drinks close by. It's just so convenient. You can't beat it. Sure, there are a lot of people around, but they make it interesting. Why would I want... More

I had a great day at the beach but get off the boat ASAP and get a chair and umbrella quick. They are "free" unless you come down after lunch then realistically the only way to get an umbrella late is to pay one of the guys who stashed the extras away. Also you have a choice if you like... More

Beautiful white sandy beach. Prices are higher than need be, but a good experience. I especially liked the silver store that was located close by. Very good customer service there too!
