The captain/owner is a great guide for your TCI vacation. If you want to have a great time and laid back luxury look at the islands book this trip.

I went diving with Captain Esa (spelling?) on the third day of my vacation. The dive masters were Melissa, Meghan, and Bjorn. As it worked out, I was the only certified diver on the boat this particular day. I was going to be diving with...More

Awesome dives in West Caicos!! The wall is fantastic. Do not miss this trip! We saw reef and nurse sharks on every dive and even had a 10 minute interaction with an octopus! A couple of the dive groups even had a pod of dolphins...More

We travel a lot. So we have learned to accept the hiccups that come along with tours etc. and usually we find locals that we go out with. We wanted strictly snorkeling. We were told this goes to 3 different reefs and even though we...More

We truly enjoyed the Pure Snorkeling. What we came for was snorkeling and that is what they offer and did. 3 stops and the last one the teens were able to jump off cliffs. Awesome trip highly recommend for those that want to snorkel.

We did the Pure Snorkeling trip and had a great time. Bernardo and Toto did a fantastic job. 3 snorkeling stops, a secluded beach and then the sand bar. Highly recommend this company!

Hello, that shouldn't be any problem, as there is always somebody on the boat to help you out. And if you need to be sure - you can also book a private guide for your diving days ;-)

Snorkeling tours & national park rules? (0 Replies)
Have checked Tripadvisor ratings and previous posts about snorkel tours, and have emailed and called several of the vendors. I do have some questions now. We were hoping to go to French Cay for birding, but, it looks like you are not allowed to go ON the island? Several of the tour operators dive for conchs or lobsters. Does anyone else worry whether this is a sustainable practice? Aren't there prohibitions against catching conch/lobster in the national park? Do any of the operators...More

Question for Traciedee and any other divers (23 Replies)
Hi Traciedee, I noticed on one of your posts that you said that you would go with another diver. I'm curious, who did you go with this time? I'm travelling there in a few weeks and plan to dive alot. I'm booked with Caicos Adventures as of now.

Hi Divegirl65 we dove with Caicos Adventures. I would probably go with Dive Provo or another company if we go back. (Loved Provo to death, but there are so many other places to see.) What kind of diving do you do? Are you a recreational diver or what I consider hard core? We are recreational divers, love to dive and only vacation where we can dive. But we don't need challenging dives or to go where no man has gone before. I think what kind of diving you like to do would maybe influence what...More

Mix of Snorkeling Excursions? (11 Replies)
We'll be on Providenciales for 12 days and my boys and I plan to do a couple/few snorkeling excursions (in addition to snorkeling on our own at Bight and Smith's reef). I'm wondering what the right - most interesting, most varied - mix of excursions might be. So far, I have down these as possibilities: - Island Vibes Half Day (every day) - Island Vibes BBQ full day (once per week) - Caicos Dream Snorkel and Conch Cruise half day (every day) - Caicos Dream Dream Day Getaway (once per...More

Since you would like a couple of excursions for the cost/budget. Here are 2 that I would suggest. Caicos Dream Snorkel and Conch Cruise half day. I know John & trust his boats & crew to deliver a great experience. Caicos Adventures Pure Snorkeling half day. I again, know Fifi & trust his boats & crew to deliver a great experience too. Now if you want to put it all on just one excursion for your entire budget, then Big Blue Edge of the Banks Adventure full day. Dr. Jim
