If you choose to dive in T&C, Caicos Adventures turned out to be an excellent choice overall. The dive boat is very large and kept exceptionally clean (absolutely no shoes on board is critical on a boat!). David, the French guy, deserves 5+ stars: he picks you up at your hotel (always exactly on time), he is a master organizer, maintainer, and cleaner of all things/equipments on the boat, and he has a super positive and pleasant attitude all around. We have dived extensively all around the world, and this man deserves a very special mention! Also worth noting is that the company provides an unusually excellent and copious lunch for everybody on board in between the 2 dives. The only reason for 1 deducted star is that management chooses to squeeze in too many divers per available dive master(s): 10 client divers with only 1 dive master is too many; this does not allow to separate novice from experienced divers and, as a consequence, at all the 4 dives we did we were forced to turn around way early because of all the novice divers who ran out of air prematurely.

My family and I did a dive refresher course since its been a long time for both my husband and I since we dove. Our girls did the course also since it was a couple of years for them too. John Hughes took us thru the refresher and he was absolutely wonderful in making us feel comfortable in the water again.
The next day we had a private charter with David and Johnny. All I can say is that this day is now regarded as our best day ever together as a family.
Johnny and David were the perfect guides, teachers, experts and hosts. Completely professional but made us all feel like family. looking forward to going back next year!!
French Cay was amazing and the rock and roll dive. Everything was awesome!!!

The trip was fantastic, we did and all day excursion to West Caicos. We were able to snorkel and jump off cliffs. It was amazing. Rico was the first mate/assistant to the captain. He was incredible, always checking to see if you needed anything, making sure you were having a good time. He worked very hard too, helping you up onto the cliffs, serving drinks, pointing out beautiful sharks and fish, anchoring the boat etc. If you are lucky enough to have him on your boat please don't forget to tip him.

So I came by your store a few days ago and I’d really love to say that the young lady with the pretty eyes and grey hair is an absolute angel! She assisted us with everything we needed. We started asking her about the tours; i don’t know if she just started working for you guys but before she called another young lady to assist us, she handed us your brochure to keep us company and for us to read as she called her colleague. Angel I say! The other girls weren’t as attentive as she was but I’ll definitely be back! The best service we’ve had since being here. She’s very welcoming, kind and sweet. I’ll be telling everyone about Caicos adventures!

Amazing diving and very experienced and chill staff. This was our first time diving Turks and Caicos, and it lived up to the hype. We had Kevin and Asa running the boat and their experience and knowledge made the whole trip fun and relaxing.
The boat had plenty of room and comfortable seating. The choice of dive sites was great (I imagine it's hard to go wrong on West Caicos). Great visibility, amazing wall. Saw at least 4 sharks and the reef was in surprisingly good shape. The trip out took around 45 minutes and the seas were calm (we are used to more waves in Hawaii).
Book early (before your trip), as space is limited. We were lucky to get the last spots.
The one big annoyance was that since we hadn't been diving since 2019 (pandemic, anyone?), we had to do a friggin' pool session the day before for an additional $250! I am a very experienced diver (night dives, blackwater dives, drysuit diving, wreck dives, deep dives, drift dives, shark dives, Great Barrier Reef, etc.). The owner chose to believe I was lying about my experience.
I have been diving since 1994 and I have never had anyone make me repeat beginner pool exercises to take a resort dive. Almost took a star off, but Kevin made the experience tolerable, and the extra money went to a business that I like (aside from the nanny-state aspect).
Bottom line, if you haven't been diving in over a year, LIE AND SAY YOU HAVE (unless you feel like a refresher course would help). You will save time and money.

We dove West Caicos with Caicos Adventure (two tank). The dive briefing was very thorough and the catamaran was the most comfortable ride we've experienced. It cuts through the water smoothly and the bean bags on the bow are a unique experience. We dove Land of the Giants which had 30-40 ft viz but the second dive at The Crack was 80ft. We saw several sharks and turtles, plus a large ray. The lunch provided was better than most dive operations, and the captain and dive leader were knowledgeable and helpful.

One of the best diving experiences I've ever had. Our dive guide, David, was fantastic. Possibly the best and most thorough dive briefing I've ever experienced. Made me feel safe and I knew I was in good hands. On the dive he was slow and observant, attentive to the needs of divers of varying experience. The captain, Asa, was also very friendly and knowledgeable. The boat was big and well-maintained, nice lunch provided. The dives themselves (off West Caicos) were spectacular - saw sharks, turtles, flounder, rays. Highly recommend this shop and crew for scuba diving.

We are big snorkelers, and booked with Caicos Adventures as we wanted to avoid a 'party boat' and instead focus on the snorkelling. We made a great choice.
There were 4 other couples on the boat so we could safely social distance. We made 3 separate snorkelling stops based around West Caicos. I can't say it was the best snorkelling we've ever done, but we did enjoy it and would go again. We stopped at 2 reef areas, then the 3rd stop was at a rocky/cave area which was interesting to snorkel around.
Water / soft drinks / rum punch were all freely available, once we had our last snorkel stop we made good use of the rum punch! The only comment to help others, is that the web site says it includes 'snacks', so I assumed crisps, chocolate bars, maybe fruit, that kind of thing.
In the event they actually provided sandwich wraps, which was of course better than just snacks, and would have been great except I'm vegetarian. Had I known sandwiches were to be provided I would have said beforehand as I'm sure they've have provided a veggie version. Just mentioning it to help others out who go on the trip. I was pretty hungry after a couple of hours jumping on/off the boat for snorkelling!
But it didn't spoil the trip, we had a great time and for anyone who truly wants to focus on snorkelling rather than partying, I'd highly recommend.

Went on the full-day snorkel trip to West Caicos island, and it was worth every penny! Our two guides were knowledgeable and friendly, and our driver to/from the hotel was also efficient and friendly. "Old Boy" was a fantastic and kind snorkel leader - he can dive quite deep and will help take video or pics if you have an underwater camera. Across four locations, we got to snorkel with sharks, a baby sea turtle and a number of rays.
Tips: the lunch isn't amazing, but there's plenty of drinks for hydration. You will need extra sunscreen, make sure you reapply between every snorkel session. Also, register your interest at the start of your trip, as they need at least 6 to make the trip and if they can't make up numbers you'll be bumped until they can.

False advertising. We booked a private trip for our family Of 6 on a Sunday for the following Friday to French Cay. We’d seen the same boat in Taylor bay a few days prior with 6 people plus two crew. Arrived at the appointed time at the dock. A bus pulled in with 25 people. They were all to be going on our “private” boat trip. We immediately cancelled. The company was giving us grief about a full refund. We WILL get our money back.
In my opinion the company is total crap. They use contract boats, those guys were nice. They had no idea until the day before the trip that 25 people were booked on the same trip as the “company” didn’t tell them.

Well, I am not aware of this ? how ever for sure it seems like a misunderstanding down the line at moment of booking, we do not operate that way, we do a lot of private charters, and do not book Private and mix with Public Trip ? We also operate our own boats, and again if guests are booked with other company they are well aware at moment of booking which can happen if we have no availability , or we refer to another operation, but again, we do not operate as describe.

If we have 0 experience scuba and have to do the training/practice dive the day before the 2 tank actual dive, how much time would this take?
Ex. 3 hours training and 5 hour dive?

Muchas gracias!!

I have a physical limitation. I need to put my gear on and take it off in the water. I can do this well. I can climb the ladder but not with gear on. Can I still dive with you in 2 weeks? I will be staying at the Villas del Mar.

Hello,
that shouldn't be any problem, as there is always somebody on the boat to help you out. And if you need to be sure - you can also book a private guide for your diving days ;-)
