I had the opportunity of going on a week-long field trip with some my college classmates to a variety of different sites throughout Trinidad and Tobago, and Jason accompanied us on all of them. The man is truly a one-of-a-kind guide with abundant knowledge about the natural and cultural history of both islands, having grown up in Trinidad and lived in Tobago for the past ten years. His experience with planning kept us on schedule and his contagious passion for nature made him the perfect guide/companion throughout all of our itinerary for our "Economic Botany" class. He also has a keen eye for the islands endemic and migratory bird species and always kept his spotting scope with him, which came in very handy when we were watching the scarlet ibises and flamingoes coming home to roost. (: We also went in mid-March when COVID travel restrictions were looming, and he maintained a positive attitude and kept us excited about our activities even while we were all worried about campus closing down. He will no-doubt make a wonderful guide and trip planner for any occasion. Probably one of the best guides in T&T. Best of luck to you and your family Jason!

Hello Rob, thank you for this very kind review. This is the third stock of Haverford Collage students & professors that I've successfully hosted over the past 4 years. Working with your group for 9 long days and visiting over a dozen sites around both Islands could be stressful, but our time together was seamless and productive. I'm so glad that we were able to conduct this trip just before flights were cancelled & boarders closed due to COVID 19. Thank God for providing this small window for us to meet. Stay safe and hope to host you again!

My mum and I had a day trip tour with Jason to the rainforest and up to Little Tobago to do some bird watching, and it was a fantastic day. Jason is so knowledgeable and a very accomplished guide, spotting and identifying many birds and other animals for us. He also taught us so much about T&T's ecology, economy, history and culture throughout the day. Obviously a very intelligent and well-read man! He's also very friendly and professional. Definitely a safe pair of hands for an excellent day out.

We last visited Tobago in 1999 as a getaway. This time we went as a go-to, especially for birds. We booked a ten-day T&T tour through Caligo Ventures, Asa Wright’s US booking agent. On the Tobago leg, we were led by Jason Radix on tours. Jason’s skill at spotting and identifying birds was remarkable, but equally as interesting is his breadth of knowledge and interest in social and historical issues making the experience of visiting this remarkable island even more complete.

On Friday 17th January 2020, my classmates and I were privileged to visit our beautiful sister island, Tobago, on a one day excursion. We intended to gain a better insight on the tourism sector of the island and become knowledgeable on its impact on business and by extension their economy. Mr. Jason Radix, our well-informed tour-guide, enlightened us tremendously on all the questions we asked. At every site on the journey, he shared useful and fascinating information on its history. Mr. Radix’s passion and enthusiasm for his field of work was definitely demonstrated throughout the trip. I recommend without a doubt, Mr. Radix for your tour-guide needs for a phenomenal experience.

Excellent tour of birds at various sites. Jason picks you up at your hotel and drives you around in a very nice vehicle. He has a high-power telescope on a tripod to see birds and has an attachment to take photos using your smart phone. Very knowledgable and has a keen eye for seeing birds. The walk through the mangrove trees was very cool. We even saw a turtle in the lagoon! Apart from the bird watching, there was lots to see in other aspects.
