My boyfriend and I bought tickets for regular boat tour however the boat we were placed on was a chartered party boat, unknown to us. We were lead to believe it was a regular tour boat and we would be back before dark. The party boat (which contained quite a few sketchy characters) stayed on no man's land well after dark, with no intention of leaving. The person in charge (who was also a part of the party) stated he would put us on another boat back to pigeon point. This boat took us to another glass bottom boat and stated that boat would take us back to pigeon point. The person on that boat had no idea about this plan so we were left stranded on a boat with a strange man, at night, no idea where we were. We were now left to figure out how to get back to pigeon point on our own. Thankfully, there was a road close by, but we still had to walk barefoot to civilisation at night, scared for our lives.
Worst experience I've ever had in Tobago. Never trusting this tour again!!!!!! Would never recommend!!!

I don’t think it’s possible for me to visit Tobago without heading out to the Nylon Pool. Sadly, an under-marketed Wonder of the World. You have to see it to believe that it exists!

The Nylon Pool is one of the best experience you could take. Cocktails is the middle of the ocean who would not want to experience that. You have to catch one of the local boat cruises to get there. They take you to the coral reef and snorkeling to see the beautiful fish in the Caribbean sea. This is a must do when in Tobago. The boats are not fancy but the experience is unbelievable. You will not regret going on this adventure.

It was a little crazy getting on boats that took us to nylon pools but once we got there it was a lot of fun. The music on boat was fun and our boat had extra entertainment like a magician. The water was colder than expected tho but overall great experience.

I was told one looks 10 years younger after swimming here. Lies! I'm 68, and still look it. Oh well, it was still enjoyable. Came here with Captain Phillips from Buccoo Bay, nice small boat, I think there were 8 of us, plus 2 crew members. You will know Captain Phillips if you see him, as he is the Islands' most handsome man (so he says). Perhaps he was also the one who told me I'd look 10 years younger. Our outing wasn't as crowded as this main picture shows, either. It was a pleasant trip.

We went here as part of the glass bottom boat and Buccoo reef trip. I didn’t know what to expect, but it is a natural pool made of pure white sand, about 3ft deep with warm water in the middle of the ocean. Lovely to float around and relax. Well worth a visit.

There is nothing special about this location, only a sandy bottom of shallow water. The tour boats bring lots of people, but???

We went on “Sugar Lips” boat to Nylon Bay today. It is one of the smaller boats which is what we preferred. The excursion was 100 Tobago dollars for 2 hours. We went snorkelling, we used our own mask’s however the staff will provide you with theirs. The boat has a glass bottom so we were able to see the coral & fishes. Nylon bay is beautiful, it is a memory I will cherish. The staff were friendly ensuring all customers were happy. I would recommend this boat.

This is an amazing geographical wonder! We were happy to be there all alone - not as pictured in the review page here. We went out on a boat called Screamers and Blair timed it just right to get us there all alone! Amazing! We left when the over-loaded glass-bottom boats arrived!

Amazing trip to do and I've done it 3 times now! These crystal clear shallow waters are a cool and comfortable experience for swimmers and non alike...

Fun on the waves, fish and coral spotting, great for kids, party vibes and even time for BBQ food stop - all in a 3 hour morning or afternoon ride...

It's not expensive either and mostly the boats do 2 pick ups - Crown & Pigeon Point I think. Haggle over tickets if you've kids or a large group going.

Nice to have a good-sized group, makes for some fun vibes and a shared experience; kids tend to bond as well.

Even though overcast this time, it was warm and we had a great captain host that talked us through the corals once out at sea, let those strong swimmers snorkel and see for themselves - they had all the kit, so no need to bring your own along.

You can sit up top in the sun or stay below watching the waters flow by.

They had light drinks for those on board, and once anchor was dropped in the shallow waters of the Nylon Pool, they helped those that needed it into the sea and turned up the volume on their party boat tunes!

Everyone splashing about knee-deep in the clear waters, swimsuits on, having a good time - kids and adults alike - was great!

Quick trip to No Man's Land too where you could get off and grab a BBQ bite to eat, before heading back home. They certainly pack it in.

The trip is a must-do if you're out there...

My toddler even got a go at steering the boat home.

Cool Runnings - Ronnie's your man, or see below too!
