We stopped at Stonehaven Bay after visiting Mount Irvine Bay for a swim. Perhaps because some clouds had come out, it seemed less attractive than the previous one. There was some seaweed and the sand was compacted, rather than light and fluffy. Maybe we saw it at a bad time. There were rocks in the water, so you would definitely like to have sea shoes on for a swim. We were soon back in the rental car, hoping to see better picture-postcard beaches further on our journey.

Long attractive beach, easy to access and with two very good restaurants: Waves (which we can recommend) and the Sea Horse (which sadly we did not have time to get to).

I walked the beach this morning and have spent enjoyable days relaxing and enjoying the water. This is a great beach for all ages. Seldom crowded

A quiet sprawling beach with clear green water and caramel sand for which Tobagonian beaches are known. Great for long walks, swimming, beach sports and most of all enjoying the sunset

Clear water. Nice atmosphere. No beach chairs or the like. The left side of Grafton Beach is wavy and the right side calm with decent snorkling, live coral. Swim out from the white wall where the fishing boats anchor and snorkel the wall of rocks to the right.

Very clean, quiet, and uncrowded beach close to Grafton Beach Resort. At the far end of the bay, the waters were shallow and crystal clear with lovely snorkeling areas. The waters are not completely calm but the waves are manageable. Definitely recommend.

My family and I visited Stonehaven Bay after lunch. There were few people there and we were able to enjoy an uninterrupted walk along the water's edge, followed by a photo shoot.

Beautiful Beach. Totally unspoilt and uncrowded. The waves roar and the noise from the sound of the waves is deafning.
Get past the waves and it is great for swimming. Waves not quite enough for surfing.High recommend but don't tell everyone, wouldn't want to spoil this little piece of heaven

Very nice, relatively narrow beach with medium waves and a nice little bar / pub right on the beach. Never seen it crowded. The Seahorse is just across the lane. Quiet and friendly, parking is limited but normally not a problem.
