    Not too eventful!
The boat ride on Cool Runnings was nice enough with paddle in shallow water. Not much of interest in glass bottom boat. Many of food stalls were running out of food by the time the boat returned so limited choices for lunch. I didn't enjoy the goat curry much & the dumpling is not the kind I am use to - very stodgy. The retails stall were not of interest. I tried to get an earlier flight to Trinidad but was unsuccessful.

    Ok Place to Visit
Store Bay Beach was okay. We did not go into the Beach but went to have lunch at Ms. Trim. The Gazebo area near the food courts was filthy and needed to be cleaned. Surprising for a popular tourist area to have the food court area like this. The Beach however was more popular than Pigeon Point and had more visitors.

Glad we went; should have stayed longer
This is a gorgeous little stretch of beach. The water was very calm when we visited and it was not at all crowded. We were there on a Wednesday from 10 - 1pm, with a ship in port. 2 chairs w/umbrella was $20. There was a bar on the beach, and another bar with various food booths just behind it. There were quite a few vendor booths back there as well, along with shower and changing facilities. Within walking distance of this area are other restaurants and shops. A double-decker boat pulled in at one point to take people up toward Pigeon Point. We went out into the waters for a bit and were surprised at the number of fish continually swimming among the people, some of which were quite large. We just grabbed a cab from the cruise port to get here. Wasn't sure how to get back or if the place would be busy, so we only schedule a few hours before the cab would pick us up again. Wish we'd aloted more time. I did not see cabbies hanging around looking for passengers, so I'm glad we did schedule the return pickup.

Nice beach, nothing special. The facilities near the beach were great. The washroom with toilet costs 2TT per visit or 5TT per day. The beds and umbrellas at the beach are expensive if you don't bargain. The tide came really high during our visit so we had to leave the beach around 1.30p.m. so before buing any sunbeds look around to see if you can stay on the beach for a while or not. The waves were so high that swimming was forbidden for children. We spend the day before at Pidgeon Point and that was a better beach!

We stopped here briefly as part of an island tour. Not sure why it was a stop. There is a beach, changing/toilet facilities (which I believe you have to pay to use) and a few stalls. Nothing of interest to us. Didn't even take a photo.

It was sprinkling when we were in the area so maybe that was the issue. The shops are okay, but most everyone had the same stuff to sell. The beach was okay but Pigeon Point and the beaches further away are much nicer. If you are staying in Crown Point, I can see why you would come, but if you ar win Tobago, going further east like Castara, Englishman's Bay or Parlatuvier are much better beaches and villages.

Lots of souvenir stalls here, which is great, because most of the other beaches (other than Pigeon Point) have nothing but sandy paradise. There were plenty of chair rentals, and even a restaurant and bar. Not as many activities like Pigeon Point, but as far as beach going, this is it.

Store Bay Beach of Tobago indeed is a paradise. It fulfills ones desires of a typical tourist destination with its white sands and blue waters, while at the same time is overflowing with the local flavour of Tobago.
On approachin the beach there are aromas of local treats; stews, soups, provision and of course the famous "curry crab and dumpling". Stalls of craft and souveneir items surround a small promenade like area where one can relax and enjoy the weather without getting your feet wet!
Run down the stairs and out onto the heated sand, hurry! Its burning your feet!...but alas this cool tingling sensation overcomes you as you take your first dip in the paradise water of "Store Bay".

Having spent our holiday mainly around Speyside and Castara we decided to spend our last few days exploring the beaches at the top end of the island. Having done some snorkelling at Pigeon Point we stopped at Store Bay to have a look. I was so relieved that we had not chosen to stay around this area. Within 5 minutes 3 or 4 people had tried to sell us something or ask for money. The main scam is to rub aloe vera on you before you know what is happening and then demand money. We could not get off the beach fast enough. It looks man made and does not hold any of the charm of some of Tobago's finest beaches. It is also very small. My advice would be to stay at less commercial locations on the island. Otherwise you might as well be anywhere else in the world!

This quaint little area is great for the end of the day when the crowds have died down and you can get a bite to eat + watch the sunset.

Aug 2014 • Family
I'm really sorry I took so long to post this review, but I had so many things to deal with. In August this year, my family and I visited Store Bay on our yearly trip ti Tobago and this was the WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. We parked our car right next to the security booth. After almost 2 hours in the water, we came back to our car and discovered it was broken into and everything was missing. Literally everything, with the exception of a towel and a pair of swimming trunks. We lost 4 cell phones, everyone lost their wallets, beachbag, clothes as well as cash, everything. Even though all our belongings were in the trunk, everything was still stolen. This meant that we were without ID for the remainder of our stay. To make matters worse, the family that was parked next to us HAD THEIR CAR STOLEN, while the vehicle next to their now empty parking spot, was tampered with and the owner was having problems even getting into his own car. So my family and I, along with the family that lost their car, headed to the police station that was literally 4 buildings away from the parking lot. After almost an hour in the police station, dealing with completely incompetent staff, we headed home. This happened on Monday 11th August, 2014, and we left 2 days after. On our way to the port we encountered the family who had their car stolen and was told that the police found their car in the mall in Lowlands, after the family called the station, the Police did not call them and I doubted they would, because in all honesty, they were THE MOST INCOMPETENT police officers I have ever encountered.

Just a warning to all, that even thought Store Bay is a amazing beach to enjoy with family and friends, serious crimes occur here and are not told to the public for the sake of all the foreign exchange it brings into the country. So please be careful if you decide to head to this "little slice of paradise".

This was the absolute worst experience and even 2 months after, I have yet to fully recover from it as I still have a lot of running around to do to ensure that all my IDs and everything I lost is replaced.
