The beach is a little lonely so be sure to go with a group or take the boat. The reef starts extremely close to the shore and is amazing. It spans the entire bay and goes far out. Here is definitely among the top three places to snorkel while in Tobago.

We snorkelled here twice - 1st. time with Duane Kenny on "Zoe" (reviewed separately) who knows this area intimately and so helped us to get the maximum from the experience. The 2nd. time was with a tour boat with a group and limited time - this could be disappointing for some? There are a lot of less common fish to... More

We visited this beach twice at both high tide and low tide. I'd recommend going during high tide as it's much better for snorkeling. At times the visibility can be low and I definitely felt the pull of the current, however take your time, go with a buddy if you're new to snorkeling and you'll be just fine. On one... More

Although Tobago in general does not have as good snorkelling as most Caribbean Islands, this place was pretty good. The beach is nice but has some garbage and glass. We used Google maps on our cell phone to get there, which made it easy.... otherwise it looks like it would be hard to find.

I went here with a guide and my husband. I'm not a great swimmer fo I opted for a wet suit to make me float. I'm not going to lie, I did this trip for my husband more than me and was freaked out with how many fish were around me. At the start all I could manage was to... More

We stayed at Coco Reef Hotel in February and went with our daughter , her boyfriend and a couple of other friends for a really great trip on this speedboat. Very interesting snorkeling, visiting the "nylon pool" and general tour of the coastline. Marlon is great fun and very competent and knowledgeable. He has an obviously genuine passion for his... The reviews should be heeded, as the beach is very secluded. The Arnos Vale Hotel does not operate, and we were not eager to go through the path next to it. We asked a local, who was in a car next to the entrance of the Hotel, the best way to get to the beach. He said "Follow Me." It... More

finding this beach was very difficult when we drove down from the side of englishman's bay but extremely easy when coming from the opposite direction. the gate to the hotel, which is now closed, was padlocked so we parked on the other side on the road/dead end. the snorkelling was great here especially when the weather was nice...nice drop offs,...
