My first experience to Paramin hills
Jun 2020
The mountain top and birds eye view was breathtaking and the villagers were very friendly and welcoming. It was a beautiful educational trip learning about the heritage of the village.

Paramin Maraval
Dec 2018 • Business
Every year the Paramin Community host two parang events (different organizational teams) But it is a genuine cultural experience with a variety of performances by parang bands and a wide variety of foods that are traditionally served at Christmas time, such as roast pork, pastels, paime, black pudding, wild meat, corn soup, to provisions, etc. Its authentic paramin traditions that usually occur within the 2nd week of December. It's a must try experience as the journey carries you through the hilly slopes of Paramin that curves for miles with sharp corners and breathe taking views of the hills and greenery. Highly recommend, parking at the bottom of the hill and get a jeep to visit here..... unless your an experience driver. #funtimesahead#parang#weareparang

Parang is a pop folk music originating from Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago, it was brought to Trinidad and Tobago by Venezuelan and Colombian migrants who were primarily of Amerindian, Spanish, Mestizo, Pardo, Cocoa panel, and African heritage, something which is strongly reflected in the music itself.
