Unless there is a festival or concert going on, it's pretty much a large, open field. Locals hang out/walk/jog/have picnics in the area. Not really a tourist attraction most of the year. It was empty in May 2015 when I was there.

Large Savannah surrounded by architectural trophies of yesteryear (the magnificent seven). There is a choice to exercise, relax, take a stroll, have a snack or just people watch.

You can walk with a group of friends, run or even cycle on your bike. You can even do light exercises as well.

At the edge of the park is a cute little museum. Also taxis are very cheap if you stand in the zone.

Do not walk around this area after sundown. Fresh coconut water is readily available at a good price around the savannah.
