Interesting fort overlooking Scarborough, Tobago

We visited this fort and enjoyed the views. The grounds are beautiful, but we didn't have time to visit the museum

Great view! Easy to walk around and experience the history. It would be even better if there was more information posted but still a good experience

This fort offers a fantastic view over the ocean and the area. Very well maintained grounds and restored buildings. We walked around the quiet grounds with our tour guide, who offered some history but no buildings were opened and no staff to help. Worth the trip to see this historical sight which has a park feel to it. Glad we... More

The view was spectacular , the grounds immaculate , the restored buildings very impressive. The reason I did not rate higher was even thou it was midday on a Thursday , the museum was closed. Four executive type people were having meeting on porch of museum, all we got out of them was a curt "museum closed". Not sure if... More

Fort George is situated on top of Signal Hill and the views are amazing and make the drive up seem insignificant. It is a must to visit for any person interested in Trinidadian history.

The view was lovely.... You could see the entire city from up there and there is a lovely spot for picnics. However I would not recommend a complete stranger to the area trying to find this place as tou can very easily get lost. Even more concerning were the constant firing of gunshots from the barracks nearby. I was told... More

It's a nice hike up to the fort from the town, though the streets can get slippery when wet. When you get there, you're rewarded with 200+ years of history and spectacular views.

It was crazy decision to go to Fort George by feet. It was awful and I recommend to everybody to use car. But the view from the hill is wonderful and it is the deal. I recommend this place to everyone to see Port of Spain from birds eye view.

Well, if you plan on visiting Trinidad or are on your way there, one place you must add to you itinerary is Fort George. The one-lane road to the top will sure give you some chills. The view going up will ease your heart and give you a sneak peak on what's waiting for you at the top. Once you... More
