If you only have one tour to do in Port of Spain, this is the company to go with! From my first email to Anthony, to him dropping us off at the airport, everything went smoothly, and amazingly!

We actually did two tours with him; The Port of Spain food tour, and the Trinidad Nighttime food tour. The first one started off with a pick up at our hotel sharply at 9am. We went and had a typical Trinidadian breakfast, followed by a small historical tour of Port of Spain. We saw various sites including the last stop being the astonishing views atop Fort George.

The second tour started with Anthony picking us up sharply at 5pm from the international airport. We stopped at the Mount St Benedict Monastery, where we were treated to stunning views of the city below. We then embarked on the food tour which included 5 stops. The foods were; Corn Soup, Geera Pork, Doubles, Beef Roti, and finished off with the local homemade ice cream.

Every street vendors Anthony picked were different, yet all awesome. My personal 2 favorites have to be the Geera Pork sandwich which was so delicious! The Beef Roti was also spectacular, with tender beer, potatoes, and rolled in a warm soft "tortilla" style bread.

Being a Tour Operator myself, I cant speak highly enough on Anthony's phenomenal customer service skills, and outstanding professionalism! I wouldn't choose anyone else to show me around Port of Spain. Two thumbs way up to Anthony for an unforgettable experience!

Thank you so very much for making these experiences enjoyable, guys! And having a review like this from you sure speaks volumes! Oh, and by the way, I can't look at raw garlic and onions the same way again! LOL! I wish you continued success in your tour business and that you help more people see the world through different eyes. Thank you, again and stay awesome guys. Anthony

I did both the food and the zip line tour with Anthony. He was very accommodating, even with my booking last minute over the phone.

He definitely gives a good tour, sharing in a lot of history and information about this island nation and it's vibrant culture. Worth the time and cash.

Went out with Anthony on Feb.20. Well informed, nice guy, very polite and knowledgeable. The food is not much, just enough to fill you up and to have a taste of the local food, good introduction to the local cuisine though. Dont expect restaurants and local dining places, all is street food, great tasting, poorly served by the street vendors. You need to be able to compromise comfort with practicality and taste.
On time to pick up from the hotel, nice comfortable car. The tour is not all about the food, a tour of the city as well. Not bad for the $50 US. It will add up if you have a large family but I am sure he will work a deal with you. It is recommended for the first time you visit Port of Spain, once you know what to eat and how to order it I am sure you will find better places to find the food. The call Cilantro "Chadon beni" or Culantro" and Chick Pea "Chana". They got different names for most of the herbs we know, again, Anthony will explain everything and you will be soon able to order the food your self. Loved the Roti. Have better ones after, but still not bad the one I had.

Anthony was an attentive and entertaining guide. Not only did he provide excellent food choices, but he gave a lively introduction to Trinidadian history and culture. If you do only one tour in Port of Spain, this is the one I’d recommend.

I was visiting T&T for a 10-day ecotour but decided to go a couple days early, stay in Port of Spain, and check out the food and the city. I had never been to Trinidad. I am glad I did because on the ecotour we were fed the way they thought 'north americans' would want to eat. It was good. But so bland after what Anthony showed me. The cuisine here is amazing and if you don't get out of the resorts or hotels and get some real street food you are missing out. The flavors were incredible. The number of food choices surprised me. I ate on a full stomach for two days and could not get enough. Anthony took me out on the food tour the first evening. An all day general tour (and eating of course) the next day, customized to my interests. And the morning market tour (more eating!) the following day. I'm planning to go back just to eat what I didnt get to. I've done Addis Ababa and Reykjavek food tours. This is my favorite tour and food experience by far. Thank you Anthony!

By the time I got to Trinidad I was starving. Lucky for me I arrived with an empty stomach 'cause Anthony made sure I got fed rite. I was the only person on the tour that night so Anthony really went out of his way to make sure I had a dope time. He's super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuine, gives you a little history lesson, and feeds you cultural tidbits as you eat your way through Trini.
If you're one of those "I'll just have a salad" people, you will not enjoy this tour as salad is not on the menu. If you like to do and eat as locals do, you'll be just fine. Expect to have Roti, Doubles, Corn Soup, Carib and more. One thing that should be noted is if you do have any allergies or food restrictions, let Anthony know and he will cater the tour around your needs. This is one tour in Trini you don't want to miss. Thanks Anthony for making 33 memorable. Send me some Bake & Shark!

I should start by saying, food tours are my thing so me saying this was the best food tour EVER is well-considered.

I was in Trinidad alone for two nights and all I knew was that I wanted to eat doubles and have a roti. This was my first time to Trinidad & Tobago but I’m lucky enough to have had some great Trini’ food in London. Or so I thought!

Turns out nothing tastes better than a Trini’ food tour, in Trinidad with a Trinidadian who has the tea on the very best places to eat.

Firstly, Anthony is a gem. You’re in safe hands whether a solo traveller or in a group. His communication and helpfulness from immediate booking of the tour was great.

I had the privilege of being the only person on my nighttime food tour - I think I might have been the last or one of the last tours before the pandemic hit full on in March 2020. In fact, the tour was one of the last things I did that was in the old normal!

If there is ever a place where a carnivore could happily become vegan / vegetarian, it’s Trinidad.

I had doubles, beef roti, corn soup, a pork cutter, soursop icecream and everything was incredible. Not to mention the great history of Trinidad, it’s people and its food, that Anthony will keep you entertained with.

If you only go one one tour in Trindad, make it one with Trinidad Food Tours.

Anthony was amazing! He was so flexible with my group as we were running late from another excursion and accommodated us so well! He met us at our hotel and was so friendly! He had so much knowledge of the history of Trinidad and took us to local spots with amazing food. The Corn Soup, Gyros, Doubles, Roti and Ice Cream were all delicious, better than anything we had at our hotel! He was very careful to dietary restrictions too. This is a great tour to book to get some authentic food! Well worth it!

I contacted Anthony last minute (day prior) for an abridged half-day daytime tour of Port-of-Spain and fortunately for me, he was available. His specialty is with food tours but he provided a good city tour with interesting highlights about the special areas of Port of Spain. And for good measure, we ended up in a specialty native restaurant before he dropped me off at the airport. Highlights were: visiting Queen’s Park, the Royal Botanic Gardens, the mansions on Maraval Road and of course, Fort George. Highly recommended tour with Anthony. Two thumbs up!
