Nice quiet beach. Beautiful water. Clean facilities. I didn't see any activities --- if you just want to relax and enjoy the water this is fine.

Less popular than Maracas beach but much calmer and bigger than its neighbour. Facilities are excellent. No coconut palm lined beach but perfect for an enjoyable beach holiday. Ideal for tanning, spacious for pitching a tent and privately tucked away behind the cliffs.

A very peaceful and scenic beach. A beach with a difference. Sparkling blue water, very refreshing and nature in all her glory. Nestling along the northern range of the island. A very cool picturesque drive through the mountains with all its natural floral and forna. Very peaceful with nice ambience between the caves for relaxation. The brilliant sunshine and clean... Las Cuevas Beach is about 3/4 hour from Port of Spain. It is a safe drive through the Northern Range. The beach is quite pleasant with few waves but could be rough at times. There are beach facilities that accomodate visiters. One should walk with a mosquito repellant because the last time I went there I got a lot of... More

The water is much more calm here than at Maracas beach. This is more of a family beach. If you are looking for more excitement then this is not your beach. There were a couple of people with a souvenier stand, but not too much else going on. Definitely a relaxation beach.

After Maracas Beach, continue travelling east along the North Coast Road and you will find Las Cuevas Beach. As there is limited parking, you will have to park on the side of the roadway. Las Cuevas is more of a bay where you can swim peacefully. The waves are relatively gentle. You can wander off to the fishing village at... More

Been here recently and I had a lovely experience. The waters are soooooo clean I cud see my feet clear even the little fishes. It's never packed with people when I go so it's a really nice place to just spread your blanket and just relax, have a little "me time"

This beach is just a short drive further than the more popular Maracas Beach, but it's well worth it since it's less crowded with calmer waves. The caves that this beach is named after provide some shade from the tropical heat.

Las Cuevas beach is a few kilometers past Maracas. It's less busy. The water is not as rough. Lovely beach if Maracas is crowded or you just want to check it out. Parking is a bit of a pain if your not early. There's still parking on the street though.
