Hard to rate this. Very sad. The church is decimated. A banner hanging from it may have said 2019. Did a hurricane hit Nevis then? The good news is that there seems to be construction going on there. You can tell it once was stately.

Had the opportunity to look around the outside while in Charlestown for the day. Inside closed but had the chance to admire the architecture and historical significance of the church. Well worth taking some time while in town to look at.

Go to church because if you are in down town Charlestown on Sunday there is really nothing else to do.

This old church features stonework of the highest quality. The interior needs repairs but it stands proudly and is heavily used by all denominations.

We were in Charlestown on Christmas Day. In the afternoon, when we wandered the town, everything was closed, including the churches. So we only saw the outside. A large solid looking building, would have been interested to see the inside. We enjoy architecture and history, so like to check out the buildings of any new place we visit.

Visited it and thought it was closed. However attended the Manse next door and where let in to have a look. Quaint inside but in need of repair in places. Very old and interesting.

Take a stroll through the aisles and marvel at the accomplishment of the slaves who build this structure with their bare hands.
