We emailed Vinnie in advance of our most recent trip here ( brief stop RCL cruise on Easter Sunday) and he had an associate welcoming us and expecting our visit. She was thorough and wonderful to work with and they have a gorgeous collection of emeralds and diamond rings and earrings and excellent pricing. Whenever we have the opportunity to atop in St. Kitts we shop at Royal Gems. It is very close to the dock and easy to find.
It is a family business that welcomes you as if you are part of the family. Thier jewelry is exquisite and depending on how much you are planning to spend they can accommodate.

I went to Royal Gems with my best friend a few years ago and we both had the best experience! My friend bought herself a chocolate diamond ring and my husband told me to pick what I wanted…so I purchased a beautiful sapphire ring! I wear it often and get many compliments!
Royal Gem has the best prices, and I highly recommend stopping by when you are in the area and treating yourself!

Six years ago, while in St Kitts on vacation, I purchased a ring for my wife at Royal Gems. It was a yellow gold band with chocolate colored diamonds. She loved it so much she wore it almost daily, even when she probably shouldn't have. One day, after doing some gardening, she noticed that one of the diamonds was missing. She was sink about it. We checked the area where she was working but, obviously, it was a lost cause. She put it in her jewelry box and forgot about it for several months. Then, one day, I decided to contact Royal Gems and asked if it would be possible to have it repaired. Almost immediately Katherine responded to my email. She asked me to send a photo of the ring and then, the next day, quoted me a price to repair it that seemed too good to be true. I shipped the ring to their facility in NYC and, within a week, it was returned looking better than new. The diamond was replaced and they cleaned and polished it. My wife was ecstatic. It was like getting a brand new ring. Royal Gems, especially Katherine, went out of their way to help us! As I said, the ring was purchased over six years ago and they easily could have told us to take it to a local jewelry store to have it repaired. That's great customer service! Something that is getting quite rare these days. Thank you Katherine and thank you Royal Gems for your help in this matter! A happy wife makes for a happy husband!

Our trip to Saint Kitts was an amazing experience after we met Vinnie and his staff at his business location. Their hospitality was outstanding, their knowledge of precious gems and jewelry is deep and professional. Vinnie’s follow-up after our leaving the island has been no less extraordinary and gratifying for us as he demonstrates that we are more than just customers , but also lasting friends. He and his staff appreciates quality relationships to match their quality business. The value found in their inventory is proven in our purchases from Vinnie and we appreciate all of his recommendations. Vinnie owns and operates a stellar business which we will continue to enjoy being a part of his family of customers.

Purchased a beautiful Ruby pendant and matching Ruby Ring - price was very fair and included insured shipment to the USA. Vinnie and his staff are a pleasure to deal with. Definitely consider stopping for the best deals on exceptional Jewelry!

Vinnie and his staff are great to work with! They are very customer orientated, not to mention the beautiful pieces of jewelry they have! I have purchased several pieces from Royal Gems, one without even seeing the piece. I always get compliments on any piece of jewelry I wear from Royal Gems. I definitely would recommend Royal Gems if you are looking to purchase quality jewelry at affordable prices!

We vacation in St Kitts every year and without fail we go to Royal Gems. Vinnie, Cheryl and Raj are amazing people who know exactly the kind of jewelry I’m interested in and are able to show me new things that catch my eye. I have purchased at least 10 Diamond and/or Ruby items over the years and every one is magnificent. I’ve had appraisals done in the states and the stones are genuine and priced lower than I can get them in the US.
Vinnie calls us every year on our birthdays or anniversary to wish us well. I feel like we’re a part of the Royal Gems family and I highly recommend them.

I have been a repeating customer for at least a decade now. I have made purchases in person and and over the phone. I just bought earring in May of this year. I have been completely happy with everything I own. Vinnie and Cheryl are fabulous to work with start to finish. Their follow up and customer service is impeccable and they always reach out for birthday wishes and special occasions. Great shop and staff. Very knowledgeable about in stock jewelry. Attentive to customers and clientele’s wishes. Most notable is ongoing relationship of birthdates, anniversaries and notable milestones in their customer’s lives via yearly texts. Great relationship building marketing tool. But, you know they truly enjoyed getting to meet and get to know you.

Yes I’m afraid that he sold me a ring and then enlarged it, only to discover that it wasn’t even soldered at the back and was glaring and also gone out of shape!
It cost a lot of money here to get it sort of put right and I had to fight for 9 months to get £46 towards the repairs here.
Everything is friendly and fine until
something is discovered and then they are not allowed to send monetary refunds! Suggested tat I send my ring to USA and get it out right! Unbelievable!!

I also purchased a pendent made with a stone called 'Gem of the Ocean". I regret not buying a ring and or earrings. I cannot find a stone like this anywhere. Do you know what it's actual name is or where I could find it stateside? I won't be back in St. Kitts in the near future if ever.

I need a refund on s piece we bought from you.we callwd, emailed, called again. You took advantage of me the 1st time rechecked then replaced that one! In a closet in ny.Now the digits were much higher. Im very disappointed, Im so sad you did this to me. I trusted you (again). We Want this resolved.

Sadly, your story is not unique. The best you can hope for with this store and family is that they will give you a store credit- which is worthless since they will just sell you another piece of fake jewelry.

That's their M.O. They DO NOT stand behind their products...they are only interested in taking your money. They damaged jewelry that that they were supposed to fix, and refused to make good on it. They also sold fake/synthetic jewelry passing it off as real. Their "appraiser" is not a certified gemologist and provides false "appraisals". You should try to get your ring back - they have "locations" in various places, and unfortunately it may come down to a lawsuit to try to get your ring back. They are the shadiest of all jewelers. I don't mind spending money on fine jewelry, as long as the jeweler is honest with what I am buying.

In January we happened unto this store as suggested by our tour guide. The gal was very gracious and so helpful, we feel in love with a blue diamond single band which we purchased. We were told the description would be e-mailed to us (we need for insurance purposes) and to date have not received this requested document. Where are we and how to we get this information? Went on website and this particular ring is NOT shown. Help please . . .

Thank you for showing interest in our store. We we located not too far from the Cruise Terminal. Keep walking straight, you will pass a liquor store call Smoke n Booze. We are diagonally opposite that. It is a green canopy and you will see balloons hanging from it. You cannot miss it. Looking forward to seeing you on the 29th of December. The staff at Royal Gems were great! They were accommodating and gave fantastic service. Their jewelry is beautiful and I absolutely love the sets that I bought from them and will be going back in the future. Highly recommended!
