Greg was born and brought up on St. Kitts and Nevis and following his return home from College in Nova Scotia Canada in 1980, started working at his Parents hotel, the Ocean Terrace Inn, with one of his jobs being to do tours for the hotels guests.

While growing up on St. Kitts, Greg's parents became leaders in the local Tourism Industry, starting one of the first hotels in the islands, with Greg's Dad, eventually receiving the "Order of the British Empire" (OBE), from the St. Kitts Government for his outstanding achievements in local Industry.

This has given Greg a unique grounding as well as a deep sense of understanding for his home country and coupled with his tourism training abroad, has allowed him to become one of leading and longest serving tour guides in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. Greg and his team of certified Tour Guides have won many awards from the Tourism Authority for their businesses high standards of service.

From the very beginning Greg has used modified, 4X4 Land Rovers to do his "unique" island Safaris with. Being specially made, the 8 Land Rovers he uses today, are all open sided with mostly forward facing, stadium orientated seating, that provide his guests with the best way to experience exploring beyond the shores of St. Kitts and Nevis. Greg's Safaris is the only tour company in the Federation that uses 4X4 Land Rovers for touring on both islands!

For your private, half days hiking pleasure, Greg has created two "unique looped hiking trails", one at the Phillips Mountain Valley (2 miles long), and at the other at the Wingfield River Valley (2 1/2 miles long), on St. Kitts. His company is also the only one on St. Kitts to offer driving tours from coast to coast through the lushly forested interior and while traveling through the mountains his guests would have access to a private 5 acre "mountain top property", perched1000 feet sea level, a place of cool temperatures and breathtaking views, that can only be experienced on a "one of kind" 4X4 Safari Tour with him and his guides.

Greg is one of the founding members of the St. Christopher National Trust and as well, sits on the Central Forest Reserve National Park Committee. He is also a Life Member of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Brimstone Hill National Park and is also part owner of Sky Safaris, a company he started in 2009.

Me and my husband took the the "off the beaten path" tour about a week ago as an excursion from our Royal Caribbean cruise. This was one of the best excursions we took the entire trip! Greg was super knowledgeable about the island and we had some of the best views of the entire island ranging from rolling hilltops to... More

We had a group of eight and we booked the tour before cruising on RCCL's Adventure of the Seas. Greg was great to work with, very trustworthy and informative. The sign up via his website was very easy. The 'Off the Beaten Path' was the tour we chose....excellent! The snacks were really good too!! We spent the remainder of the... More

We were fortune to have the owner Greg as out tour guide. The rain forest was beautiful and it actually rained on us. We loved every min. of it. He was so informative. I would highly recommend this tour. We came on a cruise ship but we actually booked this on line.

We took the "Off the Beaten Path" tour and Greg was our guide. Greg (a fifth generation St. Kitts resident) was very knowledgeable and took us to areas that other tours do not go. We sampled local fruit and pastries, rode through the rainforest, enjoyed views from beautiful vistas and also spent some time at a wonderful beach. I would... More

We booked Greg's Safaris tour through a Royal Caribbean Cruise. This was an informative and fun tour! You take a tour in a jeep around the island...learning and seeing many things! We got to taste some local rum and the kids tasted some guava and papaya juice. After touring the island, there was a relaxing stop at the beautiful beach!... More

We traveled in a caravan of jeeps through tropical rain forest reminiscent of Jurassic Park. My wife joked about whether we would be seeing any actual dinosaurs on the tour. The tour guide was very informative, stopping to point out various vegetation and fruit trees and their medicinal properties. We stopped at a large property with some great vistas of... More

We booked Greg's Safari tour while on a cruise with Royal Caribbean almost a year ago. We really enjoyed it. Got to taste some tasty local rum at the end of one of our expeditions. Finally we rested up for around an hour by the beach for some refreshments. There's a jerk restaurant around a minute away along the beach... More

We loved this tour! We felt as though we got our money's worth. At first we saw the open air trailer and though, ugg! It is going to be so warm, but it was quite pleasant - good winds with a breeze. The driver was pleasant, providing us with a lot of good information along the way and had a... More

Greg is simply the best. He expertly and patiently guided my son, daughter and myself to the top of Mt. Liamuiga. He took his time with us as we had never hiked before. He stopped and explained many interesting things of nature along the way, and shared his wealth of knowledge about the rain forest and the lovely island of... More
