Incredible snorkeling with Jermaine, nephew of Mr. Thenford Gray, and over 100 minutes in the water between Ruffles Beach and just north of Christophe Harbor on the south end of Saint Kitts in the Caribbean Sea. We started the day with a scenic drive from the cruiseship dock, stopping atop an overlook of the Atlantic Ocean meeting the Caribbean Sea, purchased a Coke from a local vendor and drank in the breathtaking views. We continue to two more overlooks of the Caribbean Sea before descending to our beach. Jermaine lead us into the water, he dove down retrieving a starfish we handled, before moving onto a shipwreck from 1752 with two canons. We continued onto another shipwreck from the 20th century and found an octopus under a rock. We moved on spoting many colorful fish, gray rays, eagle rays, lobster, an octopus in a conch shell, barracuda, flounder and crabs. We left the beach famished and Jermaine suggested lunch at the Shipwreck Beach Bar (food and drink separate). The fish tacos were amazing, great drinks, many locals eating lunch, snorkeling off the bar and local monkeys. Total time over six hours and half the cruise ship tour price. Will do it again on our next visit

Our snorkel was fabulous. Jermaine was so knowledgeable and a great guide. He took time to show us and let us hold some ocean creatures. He then took us to a great local restaurant for so yummy jerked chicken and to see the sunset. Thank you for such a wonderful day. We can't wait to come back

This was a great tour of the city followed by beach time at Cockleshell Bay..
Mr. Williams, our driver, let the group of us decide how long we wanted to stay at the beach.
It was very reassuring to me when I learned that Mr. Williams planned to stay at the beach location until we were ready to leave.
The food at the restaurant was good but not inexpensive.
The cost to rent the chaise loungers at the beach were $5 each.
We got back to the cruise ship in plenty of time.

I would take this tour again.

The tour operators were very responsive to our inquiries and booking this tour was no problem. They met us exactly where they stated they would and we were off to sight see and snorkel in no time. Timothy Hill offers fabulous views. We were among the first to arrive but by the time we were leaving it got crowded.

We booked a multiple beach snorkel excursion. We had an open vehicle and went off road to enter the snorkel beach access. Be aware of bushes with long thorns as you drive through the pathway. Keep to the center of the vehicle. I failed to ask about the “beach” in advance. It was all stones, shells and no sand “beach” which was painful to walk across getting in and out of the water.
There was only one “beach” but two areas where the diver led us. We snorkeled for about 2.5 hours. Our guide brought up multiple sea creatures for us to see and hold. There were two cannons and a shipwreck to see. This was the highlight of the day.
If you are elderly or if you have any trouble on uneven inclined surfaces, you may end up falling as one of our friends did.

We struggled out from the water and made our way to our vehicle to head for lunch. However we had an hour to eat (1-2) and no tables were available so we left and returned to the cruise port. Our all aboard time was 3:30 so we requested the 3:00 return time.

I had a chance and honour to have a tour with Mr Grey. As much as I loved the tour of St Kitts, I admired Mr Grey. He is a guide like from another century, the way he speaks about the history, nature, the way he sings "Amazing grace", reads the poetry is simply hard to describe. I do not know how many books he has read but it is clear that he is a literature lover and he knows how to share his knowledge. He is a true gentleman that never rushes you during the tour, patient and kind . Mr Grey - I thank you for the time I could spend with you in St Kitts.

The tour guide took us to the city tour.. wasted a lot of time on a garden. Then we headed to the beach and he took us to the most crowded beach area. They had the loungers available by where the cars were parking. They wanted to charge us 10 dollars per person and way more money for beers. We asked to be closer to the beach, they didnt care at all. They were rude! We walked away. We walked 5min and stayed by the water. Didnt have to pay for umbrella or loungers. Beers were 2 dollars. Then we were wonder why he didnt drop us off before where there were plenty space available I brought us before to the beach. After walking around waiting for him to pick us up, we found out that they get paid to bring tourist to that spot! Ridiculous! We could had aay better experience.

We previously did the Mt. Liamuiga with Thenford Grey, 2 times and both were very informative and exilerating! So we knew Thenford Grey tours would not dissappoint! Jermaine, was our guide for the multi-beach snorkel Tour. He went out of his way to make our day as memorable as possible! He was informative of St. Kitts and the Sea Life! He started at Timothy Hill and took several Photos! Then we were at White House Beach to snorkel. We have snorkeled on tours in Hawaii,Mexico and the other caribbean Islands. NoNe of them compared to the Great experience with Jermaine! He showed us the Shipwrecks, Starfish, Sea Crabs,Octopus,Sting Rays, and Sea Turtles! My Family Will cherish the memories and we cherish the Thenford Grey Family! Any Tour through Thenford Grey is A Must do in St. Kitts!

Thenford is my man. As a travel agent I send all my clients to him because I know he runs a number 1 company, the best. Some of my clients on this cruise wanted to snorkel and selected the multi beach tour. Sights were great, escort was great, tour was great, but there is a lot of swimming, opt for the life jacket.

I can go on and on about the wonderful day but will give you the condensed version.

From the time of pick up until the drop off we had a blast with Pastor Wiliams
(Henry) as our guide for the day.

We had 7 of us aged from 21 to 88 and the tour was great for all.
We hit all the stops
Brimstone Hill
Romney Manor
+
+
and ended the day at Timothy Hill after a stop at Shipwreck ( Our choice) for A swim, drinks and lunch.

Met Mr Grey a few times during the day. Great guy, Great Company and Great Day for all of us !

Can't say enough good things about them.

We topped the day off with a wedding ceremony from Pastor Williams for two in our unsuspected party :-)
They are still together pastor. Not sure for how long but still together! :-)

Thank You Thenford, Thank You Henry,
If anything I can do from the states, you know how to get a hold of me.

Take good care and keep on doing what you do!

All the best!
Mike & Family.

Overall this is a good tour for money spent. Highlight of the tour was the fortress.

To improve:

AC level was way too cold: had to ask to tour driver. I mean it was cold like a freezer. Was not the only person to complain about this.

Van windows very foggy. was hard to take pictures and window of my seat did not open.

Driver was a nice guy but did not explain much about the fortress and did not guide us to fortress top.
