It is worth the trip. It's a little out of town, but on such a small island it really isn't far. Make sure you take the tour. It's not only educational but entertaining.

Romney Manor & gardens was a stop on our tour of St Kitts. I think its seclusion and beauty make for a must see on the island. See the batik demonstration and be amazed at the finished products. Take time to absorb the view, the colors, the sounds of nature. This properties attention to detail was certainly appreciated.

These grounds are so beautiful, there are picturesque gardens and a great house. Plus a recently uncovered and restored rum distillery from the 1800s. But best for me, was the bar overlooking a beautiful rainforest. The views were amazing; the rum punch served at the bar outside the gift shop. worth the trip to Old Road.

Romney Manor is in St. Kitts tropical forest. The gardens are beautiful and can be seen in about thirty minutes or so thus affording other busy travels to have an experience like none other--most have no idea what a tropical forest is like. The home has a batik demonstration room and a store, part of the Caribelle Batik factory, where... More

I unfortunately tried to visit during the national holiday weekend and it was closed. But I managed anyway to look around and inside the garden, not inside the premises. The garden is full of different flowers and plants and offers a history reminder of that house and its owner. Very interesting.

Nice historical attraction, great way to see some of the background of St. Kitts. Different buildings and structures from when it was a working plantation. The landscape and gardens were beautiful, it'll make you take lots and lots of pictures. The factory shop at the end was expensive, w/ some nice things. It's not expensive to get in, more the... We visited Romney Manor as part of a tour of St. Kitts. The grounds are beautiful. They explain the process for making Batik and have a gift shop where you can purchase many different things made of Batik. There is also a place to purchase something to drink. This is an interesting visit, but not a must visit place.

What a lovely place to visit on St Kitts! We enjoyed winding our way up the mountain and through the lush greenery to Romney Manor. Beautiful Gardens and fresh crisp air! The Batik Factory yeilded 2 nice dresses to enjoy as well. Nice place to wander around and view the Bromeliads, Huge Sama Tree and various plants and bushes. Lovely... More

Had a wonderful stop here. Enjoyed the tour and the Batlik Store. Was able to see Batlik being made.
