On another cruise with friends with a stop at Basseterre, St Kitts. One of my favorite cigar lounges, Casa del Habano is located right in the port’s touristy shopping center (upstairs level). It’s an oasis, Cuban cigars, Cuban rum, Cuban music, leather couches, air conditioned, quiet, and Orlens, the manager, providing knowledgeable advice on cigars. I bought a few boxes of H. Uppman and a single Trinidad robusto to smoke right away. Orlens cut the cigar for me, toasted the foot and bought me a glass of Havana Club rum. It was 90 minutes of pure vacation from the world!
If you are a member of the “brotherhood of the leaf”, this lounge will be memorable. Send the wife and kids to the beach, and spend an hour indulging yourself.

Our cruise ship stopped at the St. Kitts port on Saturday and after beach days in St. Thomas. St. Marten & Barbados we were all ready for a sun break. Barely off the pier we could see the LCDH upstairs and Mojito Bar signs.
I rushed upstairs to grab a beer and a cigar and waited for the rest of my family and extended family to join me.
We spent a relaxing 3-4 hours enjoying some really fine cigars and drinks (Beers, Mojitos, frozen Mudslides, sodas for the kids) along with the complimentary internet made for the perfect day.
The service was spectacular including one of my cigars have a tight draw and the owner rushing over and quickly replacing it with a new one that drew like a dream.
Many in the group thought it was best stop on the cruise.

The best place for great cigars! This place is perfect to get & smoke a hand-rolled Cuban, to hang out while chatting with the knowledgeable owner and people watch at the port. This guy knows his cigars, has a great lounge inside as well as comfortable seating outside. I highly recommend to anyone who has ever had an interest in cigars! We stop here every time we're on the island.

My Wife and I stumbled into La Casa del Habano quite by accident, (while ashore from our Cruise).
WOW!!
What a discovery!! Iliana Gonzalez (from Cuba) assisted us with our selections in the humidor and was possibly the most educated and knowledgeable "Tobacconist" I've had the pleasure to meet. She is a very impressive expert in her field and quite a pleasant young lady - definitely an asset to this establishment. Since visiting St. Kitts a couple of years ago, I've placed several Orders and have never been disappointed

This was my first trip to St. Kitts. La Casa Del Habano was a totally unexpected find. A truly professional run operation with a properly maintained humidor and knowledgeable and personable staff. I will definitely make this a regular stop on my future visits. And yes, the cigars weren’t bad either.

My first time ever in a habano shop. Went on my honeymoon and was greeted by Orlens who was incredibly helpful and courteous while assisting me picking out cigars.
Very knowledgable and polite. The lounge itself was beautiful and if it wasn't for a busy schedule I would have loved to smoke there. Highly recommend and would love to return and buy more.

La Casa Del Habano St. Kitts is an excellent place to buy and smoke cuban cigars, in or outside on patio. The lounge is well decorated and has cozy ambiance with music. Good selection of cuban cigars kept in a beautiful humidor. Reasonable prices for authentic cuban cigars not always easy to find. Nice selection of fine spirits, cocktails and scotch. Personnel is professional and very knowledgeable, sympa. The manager, Mr. Guerra, is friendly and welcoming. I went there twice and was happy each time. Recommended!

The staff is very friendly. My wife and I enjoyed hand rolled cigar and some aged rum, Zacapa. The manager, Orlens, is from Cuba and was attentive. He made sure everything was great. The facility was clean with great ventilation. Next time we are in St Kitts we will definitely go back. A must if you like cigars!

I ordered a box of ten Partagas Series D No 4's. Received shipment and the cigars were extremely dry. A few were so dry I couldnt bring them back in my humidor. This affected the smoke making the cigar not enjoyable. Their shipment comes from Switzerland. The box was shipped sealed however their humidity pack was on the outside of the wooden box wrapped in plastic. That does the cigars no good. The outer wrap was ruined.

Met Olean who is the manager and he and his team were so gracious. Provided me with exceptional service and tour/discussion of his Cuban cigar humidor. A great educational experience as we sat in the lounge and talked for almost 90 minutes. Was lucky enough to arrive on a day he just got a shipment in of Habanos.
Left felling more knowledgeable about Cuban cigars, plus 4 boxes to take back home. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to relax, have a great smoke and wait for the wife to get done shopping. :)
He can even ship to you via the online store. Well worth the time on St. Kitts.

How long does it take for shipment of a cigar order to the USA?

It takes about 10 days or so. For logistics reasons, they ship from Switzerland.
