The tour was a ship cruise offering, but there was a restaurant named Nirvana. Not sure it is very active, except as a bar. The tour included a house and garden walk around, and the Caribbean Culinary kitchen was set up as stadium seating for 20. The local cook made a vegetable escovitch, jerk pork, west indian steamed fish, red... More

We were in St Kitts for the day on a cruise ship. We booked the Culinary and Rum Flavors of Fairview through NCL. It was a quick ride to Fairview. There however wasn't any narration of the sights we passed. We didn't learn much history of the island as we have during the driving part of other island tours we... More

Not cheap for a house visit - $20 each. The house was worth seeing and the gardens were well laid out and with lots of info. We were shown around by Kanava, who was very welcoming and knowledgeable. When we went the restaurant was closed, the bar was open and you could swim in the pool.

We booked this tour through the Royal Caribbean Cruise line website. We were looking for an excursion that would give us a flavor of St. Kitts. Our driver Winston was knowledgeable and gave us a lot of great information on the way to the rum tasting. Upon arrival at the Fairview Great House we met our guide for the tour... More

Very nice estate, beautiful gardens and preserved house. Took a tour with the cruise ship and there was plenty of time to walk and sit and enjoy this picture perfect atmosphere. Love it!

We loved this. We got to see a bit of the island and see the highlights. The tour guide was knowledgable and provided a great tour of the house. We didn't see much of the gardens but we did see a bit. The tour guide had a great sense of humor and kept us laughing. Her presentation on the distilling... More

The tour was terrific, the guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the rum was of the hook. Five(5) different flavors and each one equally as good as the previous. I'm not a rum drinker, but I ended up buying three(3) bottles to take back. I will go again just to restock.

Following a tour of the house and grounds which was interesting and informative we were seated in a demonstration kitchen set within the grounds. It was a very hot day but the air conditioning and cool drinks ensured our comfort was assured. Our hosts were staff from the Nirvana Restaurant who were very special. They were warm and welcoming and... More
