We did the full pensinsula coastal path walk starting from near Whistling Sands and ending in Aberdaron. Fabulous views - bit overgrown in places and steep in parts but so long as you have sensible shoes and carry plenty of water you will enjoy the...More

We walked this late September and could not believe our luck with the weather. The coastal path has some spectacular views onshore and offshore. There was a fair bit of uphill and downhill moments so it's not for very young families or those who are...More

My partner suggested this walk. A seven and a half mile walk starting at Aberdaron and encompassing the Peninsula before returning. Very beautiful scenery but you need to take car on the cliffsides. Really enjoyed this. You will have to shell out at the National...More

We visited on our way through on the coastal path. We were luck and could see for miles. Lots of birds and wildlife.

Lovely area, great walks round the headland which can be varied for different ages. If you enjoy walking and views I. A quiet area younwill love it. Unspoilt beauty.

Fantastic quite and impressive end-of-the-world like area. Fabulous views and no one around. Lovely drive through narrow roads too!

Bit of a trek to the end of the headland, but awesome views of Bardsey Island make it worth the effort. Love it here.

Fascinating how little development has taken place in the last 60 odd years since my last visit. Quiet , remote, small farms and a scatter of cottages. A couple of small camp/caravan sites. Open coastal countryside for walking.

We visited Pen Y Cil on a lovely November afternoon and saw peregrines and a chough and superb views along with a few other folk. Would not fancy the drive along very narrow roads in the height of the tourist season - but then I...More
