It’s best to journey to Point of Sand by car or scooter, however, we have done it several times on bikes. Make sure bike tires are full of air and take the pump, just in case. Pack your fins, mask, snorkel, and plenty of water. Jump off the end of the dock and snorkel the coral boulders to the point.... More

Great beach with a view of Cayman Brac. Current varies but runs from the pier towards the point, so watch out for that. Apparently snorkelling right up to the beach side of the reef is very good if you are brave enough!

This is a picture postcard spot with a classic jetty and view of Cayman Brac in the distance, the sand is white and fine, and the snorkelling is awesome. There are no facilities beyond an open sided Cabana and please take your rubbish away!

We spent the day here snorkeling and relaxing. Be careful about the current when swimming and snorkeling. Best bet would be to limit your exploration to the area to the right of point of sand, toward the pier. That said, the boulder garden of corals is top notch with turtles, eagle rays, lobsters and a host of other sea life... More

Most of Little Cayman is ironshore. This seems to be the one sandy beach without lots of turtle grass. Nothing here, so bring what you may need, and don't expect to see anyone.

I'm a bit reluctant to write about this beach because, as it is, it's my idea of paradise and I would hate it to get too busy. There is no development other than a picturesque dock and a run down beach cabana (that's a shame, but at least it means that it's just a bit less attractive than it could... More

By far the most gorgeous and accessible reefs I have ever snorkeled from the sand. The reef had vibrant color and was teaming with life; the macro life was abundant!

The pictures really speak for themselves, this location is wonderful. Its clean its beautiful and its simple. During hours spend on the beach it was vacant, with not a soul in sight. Its the ultimate getaway away from people and the normal paces of life. I would more than recommend this beach and in fact miss it already. Perhaps not... More

It is the best and only true beach on the island and the only one where the water is clear and wonderful for swimming.

Crystal clear warm water, fabulous snorkeling. Easily accessible coral heads with a variety of fish, some turtles and maybe even a shark sighting. May not see another soul on the beach. Flats fishing also good.
