My wife and I have tried really hard to go to a lot of beaches over the last many years, and there's a strong argument to be made that this is the best beach of its kind in the world. Like really. Emphasis, of course,...More

Nice tranquil place but the sargassum is so bad it isn't appealing to snorkel or swim right now but would be beautiful place otherwise.

We rented a car at the mega-mall in Blossom Village and drove to Point of Sand. It's a good place to hang on the beach, swim, and snorkel. There is a picnic shelter with tables, hammocks, and a grill. There was sargassum washed up on...More

The most beautiful pink, powdery sands. Great snorkelling, paddling and swimming. We usually had the whole beach to ourselves and when we did see someone else it was usually only 1 or 2 other people. There is a privately owned cabana set back from the...More

The reefs were great for snorkeling because they were not deep. The current was something to consider. Great beech but be careful of sandspurs!

It's a remote and pretty beach but the snorkeling is not outstanding. Some coral but fishlife is not very plentiful - like many shallow reefs these days.

Rent a scooter and while touring around Little Cayman, be sure to stop for a picnic lunch at Point of Sand. The views and beach are gorgeous, and not crowded!

What a view and no one around! If you look in the distance you can see Cayman Brac. Pure white sand and crystal clear water. Highly recommend!

This beach is on Little Cayman. When you come to the Cayman Islands on a cruise ship, you go to Grand Cayman. The two islands are roughly 80 miles apart. Unfortunately Point of Sand will be a little too far for a day trip... More

Point of Sand is on Little Cayman, and the only port is Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac. It's a boat ride of several miles between Cayman Brac and Little Cayman, and far more (80 miles?) from Grand cayman.
