Fantastic dive experience

Diving with Chris and Kate at Indigo Divers was truly a best-in-class dive experience. Only having six divers on the boat is awesome! It was so easy to get out to the dive sites and we felt taken care of the entire time with their expertise, great gear, and nice touches like towels and fruit. We had a great time during our 3 days diving with Indigo Divers and highly recommend them!

Beat dive operation in Grand Cayman

We finally made it back on Island🙌🏻♥️. Next year will be our 10 year anniversary diving with Chris and Kate who own and operate Indigo Divers in Grand Cayman. We come every 8 months and have logged close to 200 dives with Indigo. They truly cater to divers. If you like to find critters big or small they can help you appreciate the reefs, deep water, and everything in between. No more than 6 divers per boat. Other operations claim exceptional individual service but Indigo truly delivers. They can take you dive in different locations depending on weather. So always expect a great experience. They have towels, water, and snacks on board for between dives.

This review is late, but well deserved. We dove on two separate visits to Grand Cayman with Indigo in 2018-2019 and 2019-2020. Led by Katie and Captain Chris, they are a first class dive operation. They picked us up and deposited us back at our hotel efficiently and comfortably. Their boats are small, and we dove the wall relatively close to the shore. Needless to say, the dive sites are spectacular. Indigo limits their groups to 6, and are pretty strict about that. It's always a great day to dive, but it is also always better when the crew is friendly, experienced and professional.

Thanks for sharing! Yes - we are a stickler for small groups - the only time we cater to more than 6 divers is if you are a private group (when we will accommodate up to 8 divers). But regular trips is SIX DIVERS MAX! Glad you enjoyed your time with us & we hope to see you again now that travel is getting back to normal! Best wishes, Kate & Chris

Always A Great Experience

We have been diving with Indigo Divers since 2013. The recent trip was the first time back to Grand Cayman post-Covid. We were excited to get back but unsure if things would be different. Some of the businesses have changed on the island, but Indigo Divers has not. They are still a top notch dive operation that provides great service. If you are looking for a professional organization for your next vacation, I would call Chris and Kate and set up your trip. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing Dive Experience

This was an excellent dive experience. As soon a I got back on dry land, I was planning my next dive with Indigo Divers. Outstanding service, quality equipment and great dive sites visited. Friendly staff, willing to give advice and guidence if needed. I'm fairly new, having only recently qualified as OW, the Indigo Team delivered a friendly service, which enabled me to settle in quickly and enjoy the dives.
I recommend Indigo 100% and I am looking forward to many more dives with them.

The dive was great, the guys who took us were awesome. We only had 3 divers in our group which was awesome. The guides were great at showing us fish we wouldnt have seen had they not pointed it out and on safety. The company was easy to deal with.

Best diving experience possible

Outstanding. Great service, wonderful people. We wouldn't even consider using another dive company in Grand Cayman. They will gladly customize the day for you. They've accommodated our teens and our 75 year old mother in the same trip.

They are safe, professional, and generally fun to spend time with. Call Indigo; you will not regret the decision.

Indigo Divers - Treat Yourselves!

My wife and I just completed our 18th trip w/ Indigo Divers over the last six years. We now have over 250 dives with this outstanding team! One observation stands out - the consistent professionalism, knowledge, and high level of customer service of the owners, Chris and Kate. Their focus is an exceptional small group experience - maximum of 6 divers with 2 dive masters on each dive. This means they customize each dive location for the dive group on board and the current conditions. Their fast, spacious boat, configured for diving, quickly gets you to the dive locations in style. When diving the West Bay side, they have their own private departure dock. Their knowledge of each dive site, the sea life below, and all things diving (including after-dive activities on Grand Cayman) is exceptional. The surface intervals consist of lively conversation that makes the time fly by... and a treat of home-baked cookies/pastries and fresh fruit. Although we are experienced divers, we've taken several advanced PADI courses from the instructor on their team, Bec - she's a great teacher for beginners as well as seasoned divers looking to add to their skills. And don't miss a guided night dive with Bec - awesome fun! If you're looking to "treat yourselves" to a wonderful dive experience, then we suggest you book with Indigo.

Simply the BEST!

I would not consider diving with any other dive boat operation in Grand Cayman than Indigo Divers. I have been diving with the Alpers for several years and the experience just keeps on getting better. They do everything possible to make your dive experience as pleasurable and comfortable as possible. Indigo Divers offer superb diving and service at a fair and reasonable cost. All those spines on a sea urchin are actually thumbs up for Indigo Divers!

Indigo Divers all the way!!

Getting ready for our first Grand Cayman vacation, I read NUMEROUS reviews on dive companies in the area. Indigo Divers stood out as having one positive review after another, and i did not find one negative comment. My husband and I were newly certified divers so I really liked the fact that Indigo only took 6 divers on each trip. They are a small company and another plus is that you ALWAYS dive with the owners, Chris and Katie Alpers, who have vast knowledge of scuba diving, local marine life, and the dive site itself. They are a very friendly couple, giving you the feeling that you are diving with close friends. We even enjoyed home-made banana bread, fruit, and drinks between dives, as well as having towels provided to us. They were very safety conscious and provided information about each dive and the site itself beforehand. Being my first dive after certification, I was a little nervous on my first descent. Katie immediately picked up on this and was right by my side with encouragement and making sure I was okay. Their boat is very comfortable and gets you to the sites very quickly. After our first 2-tank dive, we immediately booked another dive with them later in the week. Chris handled all of our equipment set up so all we had to do was slip into our equipment and forward roll off the back side of the boat where Katie was already waiting in the water. Upon completion of the dive Chris would be on the back of the boat lifting off your equipment while you were still in the water. Then you only had to take off your flippers, hand them to Chris on the boat, and climb up the later free of all your equipment. It doesn't get any easier than this! Katie takes care of all reservation online and is very prompt with replies. I would highly recommend Indigo Divers for your Grand Cayman diving!!
