This turned out to be my most favorite excursion on the island. Our tour provided by Ocean Frontiers, Ltd and we could tell their divers were very experienced so we felt safe going into the water and petting the rays. Definitey a must if you go to Grand Cayman!

We attended with friends after having the tour canceled twice due to poor weather conitions. I highly recommend this company, as they place safety over money. The weather was not great during the first two days, but Jake and Wally made up for it. One of our frinds is easy sea sick and would not have enjoyed the tour if we went during the inclement conditions. Thank you guys and we will return one day again.

This was one of my all time favorite experiences of my life. The guides were knowledgeable and allowed all of us to having such an amazing time. Water and soda provided along with snorkeling gear. The stingrays were so curious and the guides took good care of them. We got to touch, kiss and get the best back massage ever. Thank you!!

Manny and Winston were our guides and they were great! They went out of their way to make the experience a fabulous one! They held the stingrays so everyone had a chance to get a picture with them, touch them. They made it SO fun! You can take your own camera as well. Or buy the professional pictures. Their boat was so clean. PLEASE BE AWARE that there are A LOT of jellyfish at starfish beach. About 12 or 40 people on our excursion were stung. Including me. No fun there so skip starfish beach! The coral gardens were great and the stingray was SO amazing! Good job Manny and Winston!

Thank you for your kind response. As it relates to Starfish Point (AKA Jellyfish Beach), we find that certain time of the year small jellyfish moves into the area result in some discomfort if stung. This is not a year-round issues, but mostly during late March and early April we experience the invasion for a few days if the wind moves in from the south. During other months of the year we do not experience large invasion within that area, unless changes with wind direction.

I booked this trip ahead of time for our group of 7 arriving in Grand Cayman on the Carnival Miracle on January 11th. There was an easy to find woman holding up a sign for the Starfish and Stingray City Adventure at the exit of the cruise ship terminal. We were glad to see that she also had a clip board with our names on it so we were sure this was our trip. The group of about 25 all gathered together to board a private bus for a short ride to the dock where Manny and Winston were waiting for us with smiling faces. The weather was a little cool and cloudy but that didn't hinder our adventure. The boat was nicer than I expected. It was really easy to get on and off and Manny and Winston's strong arms were there to help if we needed it. Sting Ray City was wonderful. The water was crystal turquoise even on a cloudy day and the shallow chest deep water was nice and warm with a beautiful sandy bottom. Winston caught a giant stringray that he gently held for all of us to touch and hold. There was a nice girl on board with a professional camera that took pictures at a very reasonable price. We bought them all and they were emailed to us. Manny gave us fish to hand feed the stingrays before we got back on the boat. The stingrays sucked the fish gently right out of our hands. On the way back we made a short stop at a beach where we were able to hold and learn about starfish. We were back to the cruise ship dock with plenty of time for a drink and a little shopping. Manny and Winston gave us sunshine on a cloudy day!

We were placed with this company by another company on Christmas Day (who no longer had the tour we had signed up for) and assured it was a great quality tour and a great company. This was the third time we have been to Grand Cayman and gone on this three stop type excursion and it was a NIGHTMARE. The water was incredibly rough and this SHOULD HAVE BEEN CANCELLED! The conditions were so unsafe, and the fact that this tour even happened is a demonstration of this company's greed. The ship was by far the worst ship we have ever been on. Their providing water and drinks was 2 liters in a cooler that didn't even have ice in it and styrofoam cups.
Due to the unsafe wind and wave conditions, people all over the boat were throwing up. There were only two people on board - the captain and the first mate - and it was complete chaos everywhere.
We got to Coral Gardens and the water was so violent you had to hold on to the tow rope and even then it was incredibly stressful. As soon as we got in, we were encouraged to get out because of the choppy water. And I'm not talking a little choppy, I'm talking impossible to swim, scary waves. It was awful even for experienced swimmers and snorkelers.
At Stingray City most of us didn't even get off the boat! There were issues with the anchor, we couldn't even find a spot that was safe because the wind kept pushing the ship all over the place, you couldn't get to the sand bar in a safe manner, and another boat RAN INTO US which resulted in the loss of our anchor!!!!! People were asking to go back to shore, asking about their safety and the safety of their children, AND STILL the tour continued. It was awful.
I realize that bad weather happens. CLEARLY the weather was not the fault of this company. My issue is that they put my family and many other families in serious jeopardy by NOT canceling this AWFUL nightmare of an excursion just to make a buck. SHAME ON THEM! We learned nothing, we gained nothing, and it was a VERY negative experience by a poorly run and poorly trained company.

I would like to start by saying that we received a full refund from the company after we told them our opinion of this trip. It was Christmas day and there were very few trips to choose from. This one was our second choice but all that was available. The weather was very rough and windy, and in retrospect it would have been better if they had canceled it. The short version is that due to the anchor not being set properly at Stingray city the boat started to drag, and nearly hit two other boats, and pushed some of the people (which included kids) in the water into a deeper area, which resulted in quite a bit of panic. This was a Christmas day outing we would all like to forget. The captain had the audacity to solicit tips when we left the ship....

Upon reviewing video of what took place and equipment on the vessel, it has been determine the anchor sustain damage at the prior stop resulting in the equipment malfunctioning. The captain and crew acted in accordance to training and prevented injury and equipment damage (avoided boat drifting into other vessels). We understand you take on the situation, but at no time was anyone in danger of sustaining injury based on evaluation of video.

We had a large family group of 18 people - twenty somethings - eighty somethings
Was a perfect 3 stop tour and a great price.
Our boat had around 30 people on it and we had plenty of room and attention from the crew
The stingrays seemed to actually know Manny! He would catch the stingrays with ease then bring them to each of us for photos and stingray interactions. He even did this on our snorkeling stop too.
Due to our diverse group I was a little worried about the snorkeling stop but they had flotation devices as well as a line in the water to hold onto - so even our non swimmers enjoyed it all.

If you are coming in on a cruise I highly recommend this excursion. We stepped out of our RCCL tender and their tent was right there on the dock. A quick bus ride (with AC🤓) to the marina and back in plenty of time to do a little shopping.

Manny & Winston are the best!
