We had a very pleasant morning on the Allura as we motored out to Sting Ray city. Lu and the rest of the crew were a delight and very patient with some of the passengers who were apprehensive about being in the water with the rays. On the sail back to the yacht club, we looked at the photos and... More

Of the three excursions we experienced this week, the Allura crew created the ideal afternoon for our family of four. The crew provided all the information needed to ensure our safety on the catamaran before we even left port; on the way to the sandbar the team leader spoke with us in small groups about how to respectfully interact with... We booked this excursion through a cruise. It was absolutely awesome! The crew was Lou, Captain John and Christian and they were all wonderful. On the trip out, they all instructed us how to behave in the water so as not to startle the rays. The boat was clean as a pin and the ride out to Stingray City was... More

The ride out to Stingray City Sandbar was very relaxing and scenic, and the crew was great (super nice and friendly). Upon arrival at the sandbar, it was so crowded with boats that we literally had to wait for about 15 minutes for a boat to leave and create a spot for us to anchor. I figured that it would... More

This was the highlight of our Caribbean cruise. The crew was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Lu, Chris, and Glenn took us out to the sandbar and guided us through the process of swimming with these incredibly friendly fish. They also were eager to discuss the ecology, history, and life in the islands. They made us all feel right at home.... More

The crew from the Allura were incredible. They do a great job making you feel comfortable by providing the knowledge you need to know. They let you hold the rays as well as feed them. It was such an incredible experience I would do this again!

This excursion was not bad. The boat was really nice. It was less crowed than most other boats as well. There was plenty of space to layout on the way there and back. It took a while to drop anchor. In general Sting Ray City seems very choppy with waves. I have been there twice and both times the waves... More

We did the 1/2 day excursion to Sting Ray city with the Allura and we had a fantastic time. The crew were very helpful and patient with those who were a bit leary about going into the water with sting rays. Crew provided lots of information about the sting rays and they took some fantastic pictures that we purchased on... More

We booked through carnival. The crew was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Our boat was clearly less crowded than the others around and we were able to spread out and relax without any stress. We will recommend this excursion to all of our friends who go down there on carnival again.

We arrived before the staff even showed up to the sail boat. There were 66 people booked now, due to Carnival - instead of the original 33. It took the staff 7 times of dropping anchor before we got settled. We bumped other vessels and were getting scared for the safety of all involved. I never seen any of our... More
